Device locked and keyboard not working

Hi guys
My friend installed a third-party keyboard called kika keyboard then locked his device with a password from the security setting.

Now the device is locked and when he touches the field to enter the password, The keyboard doesn't show up and the device stuck on lock

Pls help
He doesn't want to format.
