I am fed of the official google rom that came after Lollipop. All of these were terribly slow on my Nexus 7 (2012). Then I decided to install custom ROMs for the first time. I installed CM 12.1 and it was no different that the stock rom. Terribly slow.
So I am not sure, if any lollipop would ever be better as I haven't tried any other custom ROMs.
Canany experienced users here suggest one stable, fast and smooth ROM from either Lollipop or KitKat please and with a link to that thread please.
