Silly question: Easiest way to turn off cell radio in Shield with Android 5.1.1?

Hi guys,

I'm on stock (but rooted) Android 5.1.1 (the latest OTA... 3.1.1?). I usually leave wifi on and just turn cellular on when I'm at work (because we have no wifi that I am allowed to connect to, there).

In order to conserve power, I want to turn the radio all the way off when at work. Just tapping on the mobile icon (ATT in my case) seems to turn off cellular data but not actually power down the radio. About the only way I've found to do it is to dig in the Settings \ Wireless & networks \ More \ Airplane mode. Then, I have to turn Wifi back on.

Is there an easier way to do it, or better, a way to get a cell radio toggle widget on my home screen for one-tap convenience? I would think this would be baked in rather than having to install something. If there's no native way to do it, does anybody have a recommendation for an app/widget that does this?

IF not I will test some until I find one that works for me and report back. I'm also looking into writing a Tasker profile/task that would turn off my wifi at work automatically, and when returning home turn it back while at the same time turning off the cell radio... but I've got a lot going on right now so this will take a while.

TIA
