Somehow the Status Bar service got registered as auto-end. Task Manager shows it there but the ability to remove it is greyed out.
I have no idea how this came to be.
Several free task managers do not address the system auto-end list.
The consequence is that the status bar will not display after the phone has been inactive for 2 minutes. The battery display, time of day, wifi, and other icons normally seen on the status bar are gone.
Any way to gain access to the auto-end list and be able to edit/update it to remove Status Bar from the list?
