Ubuntu Touch Dual Boot Help Please?!

Recently, i have purchased a generic Chinese smartphone to mess around with rooting on. so far, it has met all expectations, but there are a few things, such as the ubuntu touch dual boot apk that have really confused me. the required free space for the download and installation of U.T. is 2.5 Gb, plus an extra 370434532 Bytes. I have met this requirement, as far as i can tell, but it denies that i have. this is the part that confuses me, when i look in my storage, i have two different places for the internal, one titled "INTERNAL STORAGE", and the other "PHONE STORAGE". this is NOT including my inserted sd card. both has more than enough free space, the first having 5.50 GB free, the second having 7.84 GB free. as an added bonus, i may have broken my recovery, as it only loops if i try to boot in it. this is the only way the phone will let me do a restore, and as for fastboot, the computer never seems to register it. the phone is unfindable, as the brand is mpie, but the model is for the huawei p8, which it closely resembles. i have searched all over for info on this specific device, and cannot, for the life of me, find even one lead on it. can anyone help me?
