XT1064 How to have a 3G connection in Europe

hi everybody,

i have a Moto G 2014 US version XT1064 with stock 5.0.2

RETUSA_AWS_CUST

build

unfortunately here in europe the connection works just as Edge.

i read a lot on this forum but i didnt find the solution
i found just that the stock version for XT1063 can be loaded on the XT1064
without the modem ...

now the question is :

is there something i can do to enable the 3G in europe
or the phone is hardwarly unable ? )))

did someone try to change modem ? baseband? or os?
