Galaxy S6 touchscreen rejection

I have issues with the lack of rejection at the edge of the screen. The way I hold the phone normally, my hand/fingers are slightly on the screen, which makes it impossible to scroll, particularly left and right, on the home screen.

I'm stock out of the box ROM, unroofed, but if a solution can be obtained by root/custom ROM, I don't mind tripping KNOX.

Does anyone else have this issue? If so, is there any way to fix it?

I love thus phone, I don't want to have to return it.
