first phone info :
model: PN0714000 (801s)
my phone was bricked for a while (Encryption Unsuccessful).
after a little research i manged to flash it with the last rom it had. i used this thread .
flashed 7.18.708.21.
Because nothing else worked only, even tho i downloaded rom for pn0714 , WHY?
NOW its not detecting Sim card( so far tested only 1 provider) and also tried the tape trick - to make the sim a bit thicker.
important to mention:
-the phone fell in the past and got a cracked screen (but it doesnt affect usage, only cosmetic...).
- i live in israel and the phone was bought in hong kong. its was unlocked in israel.
1. lets say its sim locked, it should detect unsupported SIMs, right? just without signal... and how can i check if its simlocked?
2. how to make sure its not software issue?
3. if its not software problem, how to know if its bad sim socket or bad motherboard?
