Possible to turn off crackle in video app?

I really like Sony's built in video gallery app, but find it extremely cluttered with the crackle stuff I never use taking up space. Is there a way to disable it? Or did I miss something?

Even looked to see in the play store about downloading it and disabling it..... And it's not even available in my country.
