question about flash n9005 to touchweez rom

I bought used N9005 with Resurection Remix LP v5.4.0 rom, but I want to flash it to OEM 5.0 rom because S Pen and watchon aplications. Could I just downloaded 5.0 rom from SamMobile and flash it with Odin or I need also and PIT files . I've heard that it can brickat device so ask .
