Bluetooth Metadata missing??

Just got this phone after upgrading from LG Optimus G. I notice that bluetooth is not transmitting metadata to my car's headunit when playing any music apps. Both local and remote music will not display any title or artist info via bluetooth. After some google searching I see other LG users having the same issue on G3 and G4s. I have the latest firmware from AT&T (11z) and also rooted. Also, I have tried the "auto audio" app which helped some G3 and G4 users, to no avail. Anyone else experiencing the same thing?
