Pin to home missing?

Has anyone else been unable to pin action memos to the home screen? I'm only able to minimize them.

Black & White filter missing?

Hey guys!

Where's the black & white filter?

It only appears in the front camera but not in rear one.

Tried downloading from Galaxy apps but does not exist.

Any help?

Slow Motion missing

Hi
I have a H815-TWN and for some reason I can't use the slow motion feature as it's missing :o In the stock camera app I select the "wheel" on the top left, then go to "16:9" and in the video line it only says "HD, FHD & UHD", but not slow-motion! Any ideas why?
I rooted my device, then reinstalled it back to the stock firmware with the .kdz file. Neither install had the slow-motion option. Why? :/

Missing SMS and call icons in contact screen

My contact screen is missing the SMS icon and the call icon. Empty circles appear instead, which I have to press to make a call/send a message. Unfortunately I'm a new user and cannot post a link to a screenshot here.
How can this be fixed? My phone is rooted - can I somehow restore the icon files?

Nexus 5X missing micro SD

So i was really excited about getting the new Nexus 5X until I found out it was missing any external storage (Micro SD). Sadly this seems to be what is happening on all the new phones. So my technical question is: can I use some sort of cloud storage that is as transparent to my android apps as when I have the file (music/audiobooks/whatever) stored on a Micro SD card in my current phone? Is there a storage app that becomes just another folder that any app can access?

Access Point Names feature and Tethering Hotspot feature is missing

I'm from Myanmar (Burma). I bought Sprint LG G3 and I used SIM card from Myanmar. When I bought Sprint LG G3, it came with Android 4.4.2. After I bought, I upgrade to Android 5.0.1 Lolipop. After finish upgrade Lolipop, I can not use Access Point Names feature and Tethering Hotspot feature. And I also can not find these two features under Mobile networks. So I downgrade to Android 4.4.2. But problems is still cause.


I don't know what happen. I want to get back original android 4.4.2 from Sprint Company. Or I want to get these two features from Mobile networks tab.


Please help me

Just bought a Moto G to replace a smashed Nexus 4, (I loved that 'phone and now it's dead), and can't find notification volume control settings. There's no volume slider for notifications under "Sound & notification", so where is it? What am I missing?

Running stock lollipop 5.1.1 which came with the 'phone. Thanks in advance.

[Q] G900f sixperience v7 heart rate monitor is missing

So, I cannot find a heart rate monitor in sixperience v7 rom. S5 has heart rate monitor, S6 also has heart rate monitor, but with sixperience v7 rom on my s5 I just cannot find it. I tried looking for it, some sites said that in S6 it is in S health app, in "manage items", and then select "pulse", but there is no "pulse" option in my s health app, anybody know what is wrong ?

invalid OTA package missing scatter when trying to flash a zip file

First of all, I am new to the android community and I hope that you will understand that I am writing as a noob.

I'm having an issue with my Chinese smartphone POMP W88A. It was a brand that was making smartphones, but it seems they have stopped producing phones. The phone is running on JB 4.2.2. It is running on MTK6589 processor. Kernel version is 3.4.5. Screen resolution is qHD (960x540). This phone seems like a Galaxy S4 clone. It has touchwiz installed, or I assume that it is touchwiz, even though it wont support the Accuweather S4 widget and other Samsung apps. What I was trying to do - I was going to install the Touchwiz launcher and the Accuweather widget from this link http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2259228
It seems that it supports a large number of devices. However, when I rebooted into recovery and tryed to install the zips, I got an error message: Installation aborted. I googled a bit and found that some recoveries demand the zip files to be signed. I signed the zip files, rebooted again into recovery, and this time, the installation started, the progress bar started filling and suddenly it aborts the installation with this error message: "Invalid OTA package missing scatter". I tryed to google how to fix that problem, but I am unable to find a solution. There are some topics on this matter regarding the flashing of ROMs, but I just wanted to flash the launcher and the widget. I also found a topic saying that it might be because the Recovery demands Busybox to be installed, so I also installed Busybox, but the problem is still there. I also tried installing other recoveries via Mobileuncle Tools, but none of them worked, so I swithched back to the factory one, which is called Android system recovery 3e. Anyone have any clue how I can fix this? If there is a way to install zips without rebooting into recovery, I could try that, but I dont know if that is possible.

How to apply missing (stock) apks?

Hi there,

just installed Lollipop 5.1.1 on my GT-S8500 from here. It works really great and impressivly smooth!

Due to being very slim it misses some stock apks like calendar provider. I already asked within thread and also the OP - no response yet.
Is there rule of thumb / basic rule where to grab such apks from to late install them into own ROM?

"Do not disturb" toggle missing

I am misisng the "do not disturb" toggle in the notification area when I swipe down. Even If I try customizing the toggles, the "do not disturb" is missing.

Hello. In the Apps tab default Music app is missing, but whenever i open a mp3 file from the downloads the default music app works but it's missing in the app tab.

ANT+ not functional -> missing ANT HAL

Just received the telephone the day before yesterday. Tried to get my HRM to couple to the device, to no avail. Looking into the problem with ANT+ tester, I discovered ANT HAL is completely missing (the ANT HAL service is present though)! WTF?
Sony advertises this phone as being ANT+ capable, but clearly it's not (yet!). I've contacted Sony about this, and are awaiting for their reply...

Formula match f (x) is missing from s finder

Hi all,
For the past years, I'm only following this forum as silent reader. As for now, I'd like to ask something and hoping someone could solve the problem

I've been using note 5 for several days and over all I'm satisfied enough .
But today i noticed that the function of formula match searching that can be directed to wolfram alpha is missing from s finder (the f (x) function that can be opened when you use s pen and hover the search bar area)

In the note 1 and 2, there's a way to search it directly from s note, but they moved it from note 3 and up to s finder menu.

And now, i can't find it there

Could someone please explain to me what I've missed ?
I'm sorry if this case has been discussed before.

It just happen today (27/09/2015), only the symbol is missing, i still can use the mobile data network...

5.1 bugs and missing feature?

Hi guys! So we do have android 5.1 on our z ultra, ram management improved,speed improved,battery life improved but i do notice that charging remaining time on the lockscreen isn't already there for 5.1 update.
And also the icon of the smart unlock trusted face feature is missing on the lock screen. Am i the only one who faces this bugs or you guys too after updated your z ultra to the latest 5.1.1 version.
