i got my N4 for 4 months however
i want to root and install a rom .. :cowboy:
what do i know about this pretty much nothing .. :p
what i can think of root is a way to make u the developer of the phone so u can use it complelty
and rom is like a windows of the phone [ operating system ] so i wanted a rom to delte my stupid samsung apps that
make my ram full and drain my big battery in useless stuff .. :eek:
now after i did root my note 4 on 5.0.1 i was scared af ! but it worked :D didn't realy use it but in ads blocking :D
i wanted to download simplrom but i knew 5.1.1 is coming and then i updated to it via odin
now i can't root my 5.1.1 the easy way !! i want to root then update to the next 5.1.1 simplrom srs what da hell is BOOTLOADER and Kernel AND MODEM ! :rolleyes:
in googy max kernel that's so famous ,, u can use it via odin how ever
it says - CPU Voltage control (Deltas up to +/- 100 mV)
- CPU Clock control (A53: 200MHz -> 1800MHz / A57: 500MHz -> 2100 Mhz)
- GPU Voltage control (Deltas up to +/- 100 mV)
- GPU Clock control (266MHz -> 800MHz)
wait what !! is that an OVERCLOCK like in pc / wow in a massive number upgrade :silly:
my phone gets hot enough for me and i don't realy like to get it even much hotter ! ..
and the kernel does alot of other things ... including that i can't root without one BUT WAIT !
am a normal user that knows nothing but a normal phone how can i know if there is a bug of the kernel if i don't even know
what da hell is it !! same goes for modem i know nothing about it .. and bootloader ..
please help and explain the easy way as i'm not an english pro :D :cyclops:
it looks like the kernel is ssomething that controls the device performance but why wouldn't i use the stock one // :confused:
