Hey all, looking for some advice on what program to use to play a multicast stream from an HDMI device on my work network.
I have tried and had the most luck with omxplayer, however after a few minutes the player crashes with a very unhelpful "have a nice day ;)" message. I am able to increase the amount of time before the crash by increasing the cache but it still inevitably crashes.
Does anyone have any other recommendations for other video players that can play multicast streams? I have also tried VLC but it doesn't play nice with the stream (I just get a static image from the stream with a weird green overlay).
