Stream running in background / sleep mode

I have set up some fire tv sticks (stock, non-root) with the latest kodi + llama and IP TV. Works pretty well so far. But there is a big problem: often the streams keep running if accidentally the home button is pressed and the fire tv stick got back to homescreen. Even if you put the stick manually in "sleep mode" the stream keeps running in the background (you can her the audio on the tv speaker). How can I fix this?

USB stream work - help?

Hey guys,

I am currently developing my school project application, but I am kinda stuck.
I would like to connect my phone to my car through USB cable and recieve car's data, like RPMs and so.
I have found this lib: https://github.com/pires/obd-java-api
I would like to use it, but it is intended to be used with BT.
Is there anybody who could help me achieve what I want to do? I want to know how to do pooling with USB so I can get car's data in realtime.
I can pay some little money if you wish too.

Thanks. :)

Video Stream Player Advice

Hey all, looking for some advice on what program to use to play a multicast stream from an HDMI device on my work network.

I have tried and had the most luck with omxplayer, however after a few minutes the player crashes with a very unhelpful "have a nice day ;)" message. I am able to increase the amount of time before the crash by increasing the cache but it still inevitably crashes.

Does anyone have any other recommendations for other video players that can play multicast streams? I have also tried VLC but it doesn't play nice with the stream (I just get a static image from the stream with a weird green overlay).

Thanks!

T-Mobile Stock Rooted, Noble Kernel= Netflix, and Hulu won't stream the video

Netflix only shows the red loading circle never plays the video, Hulu buffers then doesn't play the video just shows the time of the video. I tried Youtube thats fine, HBO Go is fine, Amazon Video works, these are the only two culprits that aren't working.....anybody know why? Please, and Thank you......
