So I have been rooting phones since my first Android, thanks to you guys here. I just never posted, I think this is my first.
TL;DR:
I only use WiFi, should I Root with zv4 or zv8?
Background:
So I had found a way to root with zv8 and everything was going good until I wiped my internal storage. :angel: Stupid mistake really I know. Either way I used LGflashtool to go back to Zv4.
So here I sit with my phone on Zv4 and ready to root it again.
Question:
Should I root with Zv4 or take the udates and root with Zv8? Also I just use WiFi anyway. (I bought this phone in the middle of Sprint making their changes so cannot activate with any MVNO. Seller claims it was free of any bill but that's fine its cheaper this way.)
Are Rom's Dependent on Zv8 and/or is Zv8 better or even necessary if I'm only using WiFi? Isn't it just the modem?
