OPT will only boot into recovery?

I just recieved my OPT in the mail today. I took it out of the box booted it up got up to the "insert sim card" screen and powered it off to charge. Used the supplied charger and cable plugged it in while phone was off, battery showed it was charging including little red led.

Came back to check a little while later, led was green, pressed the power button once to see the battery was fully charged, unplugged the phone.

Held the power button down, one plus logo boot screen comes on, then goes directly to recovery menu. Ive tried wiping cache, data, and format all data, i reboot and boots back into recovery.

Im thinking ill just fastboot the stock rom back on but very weird to have the happen to a brand new phone...

Any ideas?

Backup bootloader only and flash samsung devices

I have a samsung P902 tablet which is specified version for P901 galaxy note pro 12.2". P902 version doesn't have stock rom or getting any update. Meanwhile P901 got android 5 recently. P901 and P902 has same hardware. So i need to update the bootloader to newest to use lollipop roms on my P902 device. Since there isn't a stock rom i need to keep myself safe. So is there a easy way to backup bootloader and make it flashable via odin or heimdall? Any information could help.

Back to Stock Recovery only

Hi all,

how can get back my stock boot recovery (or whatever)?

I Stocked my cooperve with odin and just flashed Rafael-Kernel.
Everything was fine.
Then I made only a Backup with CWM 5028 and 6053 and now in Bootloop.
What can I do to boot existing Stock-ROM again without loosing data.
I can´t understand that I couldnt make a Backup with CWM and now device is nearly dead.

S4 Mini I9190 Bricked - Only Download Mode Works

I have posted about this before, but had no luck in finding help yet. Since then, I have tried many things to revive my S4 Mini, but first some background on what happened: ( The phone was on stock 4.4.2)

The phone was charged overnight, and in the morning after I woke up, as always, I took it off charge and went on Facebook. The phone then freezed and I took the battery out, and tried to restart it. It then just vibrated and nothing happened.

I then tried to boot into recovery, it also just vibrated, but nothing happened.

I then tried to enter download mode, and it worked. I was then somewhat relieved, and then tried to flash a stock rom in Odin. But then Odin gets stuck at Initializing.

I gave up for a few months, and left the phone alone. I then started now recently to try and fix it again.

I have tried flashing the 4 files alone: AP, BL, CSC and CP as well as PIT, and Odin flashing keeps failing.

I have tried using a Debrick.img. The phone does not boot.

The phone cant be hard bricked due to the fact that Download Mode still works, and it still charges. So I dont know what to do anymore?

Is there any hope?

Any way to only enable sound notification for texts?

I haven't figured out how to stop notification sounds on emails while allowing them for texts. I get over 100 emails a day between my email accounts and am going nuts. Is there a way to only allow sound alerts for texts? It seems that you have to have sound alerts for emails & messages or no alerts at all. Am I just missing something in the settings? I came from a Note 3 which allowed me to set up sound alerts for everything individually. I only want text alerts. Any apps out there anyone can reccomend for the G4? I'm tired of hearing the phone alerts in the middle of the night when the spam emails are rolling in. Thanks in advance.

Andriod One Spice uno is not booting, only balck screen and screen blinking.

i have installed CWM recovery but not able to boot in recovery mode also.

I'm setting up my old S3 for my 4 year old as a media / going device (no radio needed). What's the best setup? Looking for max battery life.

It's non-updated / unlocked still. I don't mind running stock or even MIUI either, if that's the best option.

[Q] Moto x booting only in recovery

well, i did not think something like this was possible...

I was on stock modded, and i wanted give to the AOSP rom a second chance, i flashed a wrong moto camera .zip (by mistake) from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/andr...erial-t3007246 instead of one i have been using... and I did'nt note that was for 4.4 rom (i had it for my brother's phone) and then after been on the bootanimation for like 5 minutes the phone turned off and only booted to bootloader and recovery, i was not able to wipe/format data and cache (the phone rebooted everytime) so i had to do a factory reset and then flashed via fastboot the stock 5.1 again, then started to boot only to recovery, hit the factory button at the bootloader and booted but i left it for 30 mins and nothing happend, it stays at the bootanimation... checked the data partition and its at 0mb, same cache.. tryed CM, AOSP, Stock and nothing is working :( plz help

Dmaxx.4.2.2 rooted and writable. Is sunshine only way to unlock bootldr?

I love this phone, nothing coming out is exciting. But, I need lollipop now. I'd like to install a recovery, make a backup, flash lollipop based Moto x Rom. If this phone was new, I would pay for sunshine without thinking, but I don't know if I want to invest money in a phone towards the end of its useful life.

So is there any other way to get lollipop?

Deleted my only Launcher and APK - Black Screen. Please help!!!

Hello everyone,

I have a Lenono A806. The device was rooted and I downloaded an root uninstaller from the Play store to uninstall some apps that I couldn't otherwise.

In the process, among other apps, I deleted the only launcher I had on the phone (Lenovo Launcher) and I might have deleted the APK (not sure about the APK). The result was a black screen without any apps.

When turn on the phone I can see the home screen (same one you see before you unlock keyboard) and I also have some of the functionalities (eg messages, can make calls etc). However if I open one of these functionalities and I click on the "back" button, the screen goes completely black and the phone goes unresponsive. I tried to reset factory settings by holding the Volume Up + Down + On/Off button which opened the "Lenovo Recovery" screen and I choosing the "wipe user data (both fuse format and fuse wipe data). I also tried he install update package option and I rebooted the phone. Nothing of those worked.

Could anyone direct me towards the right way?

Sync ONLY Google Chrome

Hi there. :)

In the Lollipop 5.1.1 version as well as CM 12.1 I'm not able to allow Google to sync only Google Chrome. This really annoys me, as I sync all my accounts and other stuff with another software locally.

In the accounts setting of android I see the Google account and can only enable or disable it. I tried the "Accounts Sync Profiler" app that allows to specify what exactly should be synced over my Google account, but it never met the conditions I've set in the software to finally sync my data.

I might want to mention I prefer syncing only when connected to a power source (not battery) and a certain WLAN hotspot I decide. Preferable, I'd like to get only Chrome synced without third party applications. With "Auto Sync" I could enable it only when my mobile fulfill all my requirements, finally.

Is there any Xposed module I can use or at least any app that stops syncing all except my Chrome data when enabling Google Sync?

cameras only work on d85110c

I recently broke my lg g3 by it falling in water. I used rice to soak the water out of the phone. Now when I update to any fw higher than d85110c, the cameras do not work in their entirety. When I open default camera in d85120r it crashes within a half second. Now when I click on switch cameras button, the front front facing camera works only. When I switxh back to the back camera it crashes. I have tried many different camera apps and none work at all on lollipop. The cameras only work on d85110c!!!!!! I talked to many people at tmobile and they basically had no idea and sent me links to their latest fw links, etc. Anyone have a clue on whats the matter?

Instructions:

1. Download the Rom and Gapps and place in the root of your internal storage

Button Remapper: shows only Mediabuttons!

Problem:
a) BT-Headset and BT-Keyboards: play/pause buttons do two things
1. play/pause
2. and additionaly: show "all homescreens I have in small ones" and when I push again I get the full homescreen

Solution:
I think I have to deaktivate my hardware Homebutton for the entire Androidsystem.

So I hope that the mediabuttons of the Headset/Keyboards will only do its job play/pause

Thats why I buyed the app "button remapper". But why do I get only the mediabuttons (look at the screenshot)?

Can you explain it. And can you tell my how to deactivate the hardware homebutton? is ther a solution via an Xposed plugin or somothing like that?

hello guys,
sometimes my atrix gets stuck and when i keep pressed power-button + volumeDown-button it freezes", i mena it doesn't reboot, that happens only with the help of a charger. What could it be? Maybe's a battery issue? Once it was at about 30% and then it turned off and i had to spend a lot of time waiting until it awaken. Thanks in advance
