[Q] Is There Better Gear Manager Connection In Lollipop Builds

Or in KitKat? I know it's flakey software altogether half baked by sammy and put out to the masses, but is it any better?

I'm tired of fighting tooth and nail to get my gear to connect so I was curious. thanks!
