Gear S2 with Galaxy S4

Hello everyone,

I am planning to buy the watch when it will launch in India later this month.
I have international samsung galaxy S4. It has 2GB ram , and Official Android 5.0.1.

Today, I tried to download "Samsung Gear" app from google play store, however it showed me a message " Your device is not compatible with this version".

Will it be compatible with the Gear s2 watch? or do I need to upgade my phone.

Please advice.

Samsung Gear S2 with OPT

In case anyone was going to purchase the latest Samsung Gear s2 for their OPT, it will not work. Apparently, even thought the spec requirements of the gear s2 are met, if the phone is not on the compatibility list than it will not work.

Porting Gear S2 Clock Faces on Gear S

I am really excited like most of you to get a Gear S2. Where can you pre-order the Gear S2? It is supposed to be released on Friday but I havn't found one place where we can pre-order one. Has anyone else seen where we can pre-order from?

lg g4 fully compatable with samsung gear s

ok I'm new with lg phones I have a lg g4 with tmobile I'm stock rooted, my problem is I also still have a Samsung gear s smart watch/phone, got it here I can use it with my phone everything works except reciveing texts from lg g4 to phone....my calls go to watch but I cant figure out texts..is it possible???

Weak connection of my Note 5 to gear circle bluetooth headphones

My Note 5 used to connect to samsung gear circle. After 5.1.1. update, it connects to it but drops the connection when I move it slightly away from phone. Connects again, but then drops again. No problem with the car though. My wife's phone is 5.0 and her phone is working with the same headphones no problem.
I tried the headphones with her phone, they work fine. I tried her headphones with my 5.1.1, same problem. So the problem must be the brand new Note 5 with android 5.1.1 update.
Any suggestions? And yes, I tried clearing the cache and all that.

My Canadian Note 4 from Rogers, Gear VR, and DynamicKat (Boot Loop w DynamicPop)

I was lucky enough to get my Samsung Note 4 on the first day it was released in Canada, purchasing the device outright from Rogers and the unlock. I then purchased Samsung Gear VR from eBay, because Samsung didn't make it available in Canada. To my dismay, I quickly discovered that the Rogers Android version doesn't support Samsung Gear VR.
I was able to root the device somehow. After loading a new kernel, I was able to get Dynamic Kat on the device and got Samsung Gear VR to work.

Now I've got a device that I can't upgrade via auto update. I tried to load Dynamic Pop, but end up in a boot loop.

Any recommendations?

i'm completely new to smartwatches , i have the gear s , and would like to get whatsapp ect , so i downloaded notifications for gear s on my s3 , and also downloaded it from the watch itself , on google play it says "installed" but i cant find it anywhere either on my phone or the watch
can anyone help , also is there a way to reply to emails from the watch

Can the Gear Live connect to a WPA2 Enterprise network?

I can't get my college's network to show up on my watch's list of wifi networks. Is there a hack or something that can be done to enable WPA2 support for the watch? The network is on the 2.4 GHz frequency.

gear 2 on another phone?

so besides flashing android wear, is there any way at all to run the gear 2 on the new moto x pure? it's running 5.1.1.

I just hate to have my 320 dollar smart watch goto waste bc i got a new phone...

Scratching My Head On Gear Fit Issue

A couple weeks ago I ran across a deal where a4c was selling some refurbished gear fits. So I thought I would pick one up and try it. When it came in I had trouble pairing the device with gearfit manager
I called Samsung and didn't get anywhere so I RMA'ed it for another one The second one came in and I had the exact same problem(something fishy here I though). So I went ahead and took it to Best Buy to the Samsung desk and when they hooked it up to their version of Odin it appears that an improper binary had been installed by the refurbisher (see the attached screenshot). Attachment 3483907 Can anyone help me figuring out how to get this back to normal?
