Camera quality as stock or better for Note 3 (N9005/N900) on CM12.1 or AOSP ROM

Hi, i have installed CM12.1 on my N9005. It's great ROM. I like AOSP android more than Samsung Touchwiz. But camera application on CM12.1 don't give the same photo and video quality as stock camera on Samsung Touchwiz. I liked CM12.1 very match but I want get photo and video quality the same as on stock Touchwiz camera. Is this possible?

I was wondering if its possible to lower the compression and noise of the photos with root and editing some files. Or somehow to enhance photo quality.
I had Nokia N8 which has still awesome quality of photos and now I have this lenovo and I'm thinking about improveing the photo quality as much as possible.

I received my OnePlus 2 invite last week and ended up purchasing it and it's due for delivery tomorrow (or Tuesday, knowing my mail man).

the current app is buggy, seldom loads, looks outdated, crashes, still talks about xda like a client website of a host app, doesn't support q&a format threads, doesn't support the news, wiki, doesn't format inlaid pictures correctly, etc... how is acceptable when we are building apps the likes of greenify and xposed?

Trying to better understand the Backup and Restore feature

I just got my phone back from Motorola for warranty work. When I first got it I knew that I was going to be rooting it and loading a custom ROM but I decided to just install my sim and use it just to make calls for the time being. When I went through the initial setup and asked me if I want to restore my backup from previous backups. To my surprise I had a whole list of backups from when I first got my old phone a OnePlus and I was able to choose which apps I wanted to install. Well today I loaded Benzo ROM but after the initial setup it never asked me to restore a backup. Is there still a way I can restore one of my old backups or is this not a feature with Benzo ROM?

Am I missing something?
