Update to 5.1.1 on a rooted Nexus 7

I have rooted my Nexus and it is running on 5.1.0. I would like to flash the 5.1.1 via an OTA which I have received on my device. When I try to install it, the device reboots and I get a "Installing software update" message followed by an error. I would like to know how to install this OTA update without wiping the device.
