Voice not getting broadcasted to the bluetooth headset for Skype/Whatsapp calls.

I am using one of these bluetooth headsets. They are discussed a lot by audiophiles when it comes to bluetooth headsets. So, I am able to listen to music and I can take voice calls over the phone fine.

But...

I can't listen anything on the headset when it comes to Skype or Whatsapp calls. Is there any setting I might have missed in these apps?

I am on the Blisspop ROM and using AGNi kernel if that helps.
