Messaging not working after updated to 5.1.1 build number 23.4.A.1.200

Hi all, first time posting here.

Recently i updated my Z3C from kitkat 4.4.4 to 5.1.1 build number 23.4.A.1.200

After a week updated to 5.1.1, i noticed that i couldn't receive any text message / SMS nor send out text message/ SMS.

It always show error message 'couldn't send' whenever i tapped on the send button.

Hence, i disabled the messaging apps can install google messenger app as alternative. Still, the result are same. I am still unable to use the sms function.

I tried with google hangout apps next. I am able to send sms and receive the sms notification. However, when i opened up the hangout apps, i can't see any new sms arrival.

Lastly, as alternative, my fren introduce me to the apps called textra. Fortunately, it worked like a charmed and i am now able to send, receive and view them.

I would like to ask, what is the root cause of the failure of the stock messaging apps and is there anyway to fix it?

How to root (D5803) on Android 5.1.1 (23.4.A.1.200) without unlocking the bootloader?

Hey guys, the title sais it all!

I have some expirience with flashing roms and custom recoveries and rooting, but on Samsung phones its SO much easier then on Sony. I read through some stuff with flashboot and ADB and what not and I don't really get it. All the ''step by step'' guides are not step by step, their using terms that a normal person wouldn't understand. So I was just wondering if anyone here knew the easiest way to root my Z3 compact running on the latest firmware, without unlocking the bootloader?

[D6503][5.1.1] Pre-rooted Stock 23.4.A.1.200 Flashable Zip Customised SG

Instructions
1. Place the zip on your external SD card (recommended) or internal memory
2. Boot into recovery using NDR Utils or by pressing the volume down button on boot.
3. Flash the zip using TWRP, other recoveries might work but I have not tested it yet.
4. Clear dalvik cache and other cache.
5. (optional but highly recommended) Flash Stagefright fix. Just flash the zip. No dalvik cache wipe needed.

Ive created latest pre root release of the latest D6503 Locked Bootloader Firmware things ive added are SuperSU v2.46 and NUT's Latest Dual Recovery v2.8.22 Enjoy ;)

Has always remember to:
1. Put the zip on your SDCard or internal memory
2. Boot into you're favourite recovery
3. Flash the zip
4. Wipe data/cache and dalvik
5. Reboot
6. Done

Hey guys, I've made the pre-rooted 23.4.A.1.200 zip.

Instructions

1. Copy the zip to the internal/external SD card of your phone.
2. Boot your phone into recovery (TWRP recommended).
3. Install the zip in recovery. After you have flashed it, DON'T FORGET TO WIPE CACHE AND DALVIK CACHE.
4. Turn off your phone.
5. Using flashtool, flash the 23.4.A.1.200 firmware, but EXCLUDE PARTITION, TA, SYSTEM. Also, make sure you don't flash simlock.ta(I don't have it, but I think it's included in TA). If you are using the FTF I've posted, you won't have to disable TA and simlock.ta, because I've removed them.

Firmware 23.4.A.1.200 available for XPERIA Z2 Tablet

After i release firmware 23.4.A.1.200 for XPERIA Z3, XPERIA Z3 Dual, XPERIA Z3 Compact and XPERIA Z3 Tablet Compact, i now prepare version for XPERIA Z2 Tablet. You will be soon able to flash ti with Flashtool. For now i check SGP521 version and it is available, so probably for SGP 511 too. Which version upload first? :)
