Desire 610 USA Kernel Source Code

Hi All,
Can someone please provide the HTC Desire 610 USA kernel source code. I have looked on HTC DEV, but no USA versions of the 610 are listed. I am going to be building a kernel for the 610 the supports overclocking, and I can't start without the USA kernel source code. So can someone upload it? Remeber it has to be the USA version (the one with a res of 480*854).
Thanks,

Best kernel for stock rom

Can anyone recommend any kernel for the newest stock sense rom ? (4.18.401.4) .. I hope to have one that has this Double tap to wake thing, sounds nice

Rooting and keeping with the stock kernel

It's month now when SGS6E+ is out in the wild and we don't have many devs in the comunity so far... I greately appreciate the only custom kernel we have, but what about just rooting, and keeping stock at the same time? Pure stock and root.
I still can't find any solution for such a basic need: a stock rooted kernel. You can say: hey there is one:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/s6-edge-plus/development/auto-rooting-stock-kernels-s6-edge-plus-t3194607/

..but when I went thru the comments... so many issues... Why?

Truely speaking, i tried to compile my own kernel, but... I'm a noob and only achieved to set up the environment: ubuntu... all the needed packages... but then I noticed there were no newest sources for G928F on samsung site....G928FXXU1AOH4. Even if they were available, I would rather fail building it :)

Any ideas?

Share Your Kernel Settings

I know there are a lot of possible settings depending on the users preference. I'm just curious what settings do you use for your phone. Since we all have the same phone why not share yours.

Please include your:
- Kernel you are using
- App/s used in tweaking the settings
- And your settings

I just cloned on my PC the Official Source Kernel taken from:
https://github.com/OnePlusOSS/androi...neplus_msm8994

Now I want to build kernel.

Is there an official .config file that I can use as reference for build?

Can I take it from my smartphone?

Thanks,
Flavio

Advance Stock Kernel or Custom Kernel?

Is there any Kernel available for our device? That is compatible with 4.43 and 5.1.1 Stock or custom roms? Can someone make it? Hehe. Thanks.
Has features like:
- A very fast kernel that improves Ui smoothness and performance without overclocking Cpu and Gpu. Like other phones that has similar specs.
- CPU Overclock to 1.6 GHz.
- Adreno 305 Overclock to 500 MHz or higher that won't affect phones lifespan. (Galaxy Mega 6.3 has Gpu clock at 500 MHz so it's possible for our device.)
- An equal or better Battery Life.

N7 OTG + Charging Kernel for Lollipop (Charger plug & unplug)

Hey guys,
i'm looking for Lollipop kernel which supports OTG + Charging at the same time, with the user's ability to plug & unplug the charger with OTG running.
Furthermore it should be possible to charge the device again after unplugging the charger.
I've tested the oxydo-revamped kernel, but it doesn't have the possibilty to charge the device again after unplugging the charger. In addition to that it does not support otg with the charger unplugged (otg device attached to the y-cable).

Kind regards
xhardcoreunit

Blu Studio 5.0 LTE (Y530Q) -- TWRP/ Custom Kernel/ Rootable via TWRP

TWRP -- CUSTOM ROOTABLE KERNEL -- ROOT NOW AVAILABLE FOR THE BLU STUDIO 5.0 LTE (Y530Q)!!!!!

After a lot of work, trial and error, I now have a method available to install TWRP on this phone and root it easily.

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Download the files linked at the bottom of this post.

  2. Connect your phone to your computer by USB, and copy the file "UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.46.zip" onto your phone's SD card.

  3. Put your phone into fastboot mode, and connect it to your computer.

  4. Type the command "fastboot flash recovery twrp-unofficial-blu-studio-5-lte.img" and press "Enter"

  5. Type the command "fastboot flash boot boot-blu-studio-5-lte-modified-rootable-kernel.img" and press "Enter"

  6. Using the keys on your phone, press & hold the "Volume Up" & "Power" keys until the "BLU" logo appears, then release the keys. TWRP should come up in a few seconds.

  7. Using the "Install" option in TWRP, flash the file "UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.46.zip". Once it finishes, clear the cache and reboot normally.

Your Blu Studio 5.0 LTE should now has a TWRP custom recovery, is rooted, and you can install any custom ROM you can find just like on any other phone.

JUST MAKE SURE THAT THE ROM YOU FLASH IN TWRP IS FOR THIS PHONE!!!!! I WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY BRICKED DEVICES!!!!

Looking for people to help me to upgrade victara to 3.10 kernel

Hi, few days ago I began working on a port of the 3.10 linux kernel for victara. I think it could be interesting as this version brings up some nice features. But it is still cool to get a more up to date kernel anyway. Unfortunately, the kernel is stuck to 3.4.y now so I'm posting here and hope interested people will help me, because this task takes a lot of time and there is some difficulties. I'm looking more for enthusiasts with some general and also Linux kernel specific knowledge but anyone who really wants to help is welcome, I think this will be very fun and we will share a lot of knowledge. If you are interested you can send me a PM. [emoji4]

Despair Kernel and DarkPop Successor

I ordered my Graphite 64GB 6P, whoever gets it first and is ready to get testing when source drops should likely be in this thread;)

Requesting a kernel tutorial thread!

Hi! Just as the name implies, I was curious if any of you kernel wizards could maybe start a thread or even here just share some settings you guys use. I've changed several ROMs and currently using squids kernel but I've never been comfortable messing with the values other then headphone gain. I've usually just flashed preconfigured kernels and left it as is. From what I'm seeing certain changes achieve things like performance gain, battery save etc.. I'd love some thoughts!

CM based Kernel (In-kernel Hotplug, Optimized defaults)

Hi, everyone. I got a few days ago an HTC One M9. I could not bear Sense, so a day later I unlocked the bootloader, flashed CM and noticed battery life was ****. This is my attempt at making it a little better.

Got intelliplug working for 8-cores device.
Current algorithm should enable core from 0 through 3 (cortex-a53 first) fast. Then, every core should take much more load to enable. It gives you power when you need, but still has better battery life. If anyone has a better Idea, feel free to post or push a pull request. Might also need a bit more tweak.

[KERNEL QUESTION] Double tap to wake

I searched for this feature on Z1c section but I didn't find anything. I wonder if it's possible to develop a kernel that has this very useful feature. Anyone gave it a try? And moreover, it would be possible to flash it on a stock KK rom?
