So i read this post http://forum.xda-developers.com/kind...indle-t3187044 I downloaded everything i done the instructions but When i do adb reboot-bootload it says error: device '(null)' not found when i type adb devices there is nothing there. when my kindle boots up i hear the noise of it connecting then it disconnects then connects again when on the twrp logo so what is the problem.

Question about ADB commands with Kindle Fire HD 7 (tate)
New guy with less than 10 posts here.
I downloaded the ADB tools to try to communicate said device with my XP machine. I know XP is old, but for now I have to use it.
I want to transfer files using PUSH. So, I tried to see if the XP machine even finds the KFHD and this is what I get:
>adb devices
List of devices attached
D025A0A030240981 offline
Can someone tell me how to get this "online"? I've looked at every setting on the unit, but there's nothing that allows me to use ADB, like on the OEM kindle OS. I do remember saying "Yes" to the question about using USB debugging when I converted this thing to CM11-20141112-SNAPSHOT-M12-tate.
