Is the method of removing tegraota folder working for OTA 3.1.1. as well or it is better to stay with OTA 3.1?
I have my old shield tablet LTE with OTA 3.1 and I have got a replacement tablet a few days ago (Slovak Republic - Europe - the new tablet is still power down) so Im planning to root my old tablet and remove the tegraota folder to prevent the kill switch. I dont know if I should at first carry out the update OTA 3.1.1. on my old tablet before rooting it and removing tegraotafolder or it is safer do not update and stay with OTA 3.1 (NVIDIA could possibly add another form of killswitch in OTA 3.1.1. in order to adapt to deleting tegraotafolder by many cunning owners)
