X Pure on At&t unlimited data grandfathered plan?

Hey all- There is much q&a about getting the mobile hotspot and tethering working with verizon's unlimited data but i have not seen much about att's.

So my question regarding the ATT unlimited data grandfathered plan (plans before mobile share) is this. Who out there has the older ATT grandfathered unlimited plan and has mobile hotspot working with/without root?

I liked that when i bought my Nexus 5, mobile hotspot worked just fine out of the box and i never had to do anything to make it work. I would like to upgrade to the new X Pure, but concerned about my plan and compatibility OOB. Any insight is greatly appreciated.

WHAT DOES THIS MOD DO: This mod will let you type very long text messages and it won't automatically convert it into MMS.

★ Go into your system/priv-app/SecMms_Delight_Note_Open folder and take out your "SecMms_Delight_Note_Open.apk"
★ Then use one of the applications such as apktools or baksmali and then use the commands to decompile the SecMms_Delight_Note_Open.apk
★ Once you have decompiled the SecMms_Delight_Note_Open.apk, go to:
