What changed in the update 1.0.A.0.1 Small App Framework?

On September 28 an update of the small apps framework came to my device. I thought it would be something to improve or add more resources. But the only change was the button for adding new Small Apps.
With this new update, when you click add new Small Apps and select "add small apps from Play Store" it searched for "SmApEx4SoPr" instead of "Small extension Apps for Sony products".
I have to confess, the search for small apps in the Play Store was much more precise.

Small app is a special mini version of an applicaton. It ruins on top of the other applications and offers new inuitive ways for multitasking. The small apps launcher is embedded at the bottom of the recent apps screen. Pre-intalled small apps can be launched or deleted from the launcher. You can also add new small apps there.

App launcher changed after update and can't see icons

I'm using Cyanogenmod 12.1 with the deafualt app launcher and deep darkness theme. Something happened and the app launcher screwed itself up and now I can't read the names of the apps and have to scroll down instead of side to side.

I reverted to a backup using TWRP and it was normal at first but after some automatic updates it went back to this messed up app launcher. I've never changed the app launcher before and don't know how.

I'm used to seeing this, the half on the right.
