ROM for S4 on Cricket prepaid

Hi,

I'm looking for a good rom that I can run on the cricket or straight talk S4 (I'm unsure of the specific model those are on those prepaid networks)

The following features are required:

1) tethering without having extra fee or carrier blocking
2)theme chooser based themes
3)can run an ad blocker
4)are easier to install like cm installer is or at least not so PC dependant becuase my most stable system is server 2012 and some software won't run on it and my laptop is windows 7 but it's slow. I need an install process that won't brick the phone, as I am low on cash to be replacing it.... I just got enough saved for the phone and service itself and would be royally screwed if it were bricked.... I don't have the luxury of getting a new one if it is bricked and prepaid carriers don't help you with anything you are on your own.

Cricket zte grand max+ questions.

Hello I have the cricket zte grand max+ and its unlocked. I am currently using it on family mobile. I have searched everywhere and can not find any development of any kind on this phone. I know its a low budget phone but honestly it really is a decent phone so I am surprised that there is no root recovery roms or any kind of mods for it. If I am wrong and someone knows some secret places to find that stuff at please let me know lol. This phone would be awesome if there was roms or even a root method for it thanks.

[WARNING] Cricket Customers and the Moto E. You can't do anything with this phone.

I got a Moto E from Cricket the other day and spent the last couple of days searching the forums to no avail and I hope to save others from wasting their time. I feel like if this is true it should be in one of the Guides or FAQs or something. I had to do a lot of searching before finding all this out.

So apparently Cricket/Att have opted out of/refused to participate in Motorolas bootloader unlock program.
The ONLY way (so far at least) to unlock your bootloader is by using the official unlock code from Motorola.
If you try and get the code from their site you get the error message: "Your device does not qualify for bootloader unlocking."

The only way to get root is to have an unlocked bootloader.

To make matters even worse, it appears as if they have completely blocked the ability to move ANY apps to the SD card. So you will have about 2Gigs total for apps.

I am going to try and return the phone today and buy an already unlocked version. Id love it if I was wrong about this but afaik that is the state of things atm.

Note 3 900a on cricket can't receive mms

I have an unlocked galaxy note 3 (at&t version) that I put on cricket 2 weeks ago. Everything works perfect with one exception. I cannot reliably receive mms messages. Voice and data are perfect. It will send and receive sms without fail. It will even send every mms I attempt send but for some reason it will not receive all mms coming in. As a matter of fact it misses most of them but occasionally one or two come through. The phone is unlocked. It is NOT rooted. I have not received a configuration message but I have entered the apn settings on their website and have checked them over and over but no luck. Any ideas? Thank you!

Best rom for cricket on tmobile phone

I've been using stock t-mobile rom which isn't awful but i've had a few issues which are way super weird and prefer to get rid of most of the bloat ware and hopefully run at a more reasonable ram amount lol. I've used a few tmobile ones i forget which one's almost all didn't want to send mms's so that was a problem for me :-\ Also my weird problem with the t-mobile rom is I need my bluetooth on constantly or else the batter drains super duper quick like a percent a minute while charging and not also (which the phone heats up like mad and it's just so weird.)

So what rom should I get I want shealth preferably the old one I loved the goal achieved sound the trumpets one and new one doesn't have that for some reason :-\ or I could try a cm based one or pure android. I saw the note 5 one by darklord i'd love that one when the camera's working on it because that feature with screen off is awesome (not that i use the pen enough screen size is to small :-\ imho nice feature sometimes for jot down notes tho :D) anyway what does everyone recommend guess a tmobile one is what i need and change the apn's manually and hope mms works lol.
