Recognize redmi 1s as storage device.
Hello friends.I wanna know whether we can use our device as a storage device instead of media device.Whenever we connect our phone to PC it recognizes it as media device(ipod like symbol). Is there any way we can convert it to a drive like we see when we connect a pendrive or any storage device. Because whenever I connect my device to my TV. It only shows photo option and no song and video option.so??? Can we use ums (USB mass storage ) instead of mtp
Help me.

[Q] Computer won't Recognize Kindle in Fastboot Mode [Q]
Before we start this: I am new to Android, especially FIRE OS, and really need some help. Also, this is refering to a Amazon Kindle Fire 7" 2nd Generation.
Lets start from the beginning. I decided to root my kindle, and I installed Google Play Services on it. I then updated, and decided to wipe the services (It was causing some problems) and reinstall it. Because "vending.app" is the main files that runs the services (I thought), I found a "Vending" folder under /SYS in the file directory. Me being an idiot, I deleted it, and it froze my kindle, I forced a restart, but then all I got was the Blue "Kindle Fire" screen. It would show the logo, crash, then restart again, basically a boot-loop. I did some research, and decided to fastboot my kindle, wipe it clean, and install a recovery. I bought a FACTORY CABLE, and successfully fast-booted my device. I then installed a portion of (what I think) is the Android Developer thing-a-ma-bob that contains the ABD and fastboot files. The thing is, I have my fastbooted kindle connected to the computer via USB, but ADB AND FASTBOOT DOES NOT RECOGNIZE IT. All its says is "<waiting for device>". Does this have something to do with the "Vending" File I deleted, or is it a computer problem.
PS: I have a MAC, and(I don't think) requires drivers, so drivers is not the cause. I also cannot use any 3rd party recovery softwares due to not being able to run .bat and .exe
THINGS I HAVE TRIED:
-Switching to the normal Kindle Charger (USB)
-Hard Starting the Kindle
-Trying to boot into recover w/ VOLUME UP (Does not Work)
-Changing USB Ports
Any Help Will Be Appreciated, Thanks!

HTC 8S (8.1 Update) doesn't recognize phone numbers, lags
I updated my HTC 8S to WP 8.1 and 8.1 Update (8.10.14192.280) through Preview for Developers. It works, but I have some issues.
When I get a call, I see a number (for example 065123456), which is the number of the network (065 in this case) and the phone number of the (mobile) phone in that network (in this case 123456). If / when I have this person (and its number) in contacts in the following format: +386(65)123-456 (so with the country prefix), the phone doesn't find the contact and displays just 065123456...
When I get an SMS, the number is with the prefix (+386(65)123-456)...
All my contacts are on Google, and the majority has the number with the country prefix. It really pisses me off to not be able to tell who is calling or who sent me an SMS (depending on the number format in contacts)...
My Nokia Lumia 820 had none of the problems...
Does anybody have an idea what can I try? I allready tried enabling (and disabling) International Assist but it didn't help...
