4.4.4 vs 5.1 RAM Usage

Hello, all!

I've got an xt1045 (Moto G 4G), and it just came to my attention that Lollipop has finally been released for xt1045 (I'd frozen a bunch of the Motorola services with Titanium Backup in order to save on RAM usage).

I'm wondering whether I should upgrade to Lollipop? My brother has a Moto X (1st gen), and says it's very laggy for him, despite loads of free RAM.

On my Moto G 4G I am constantly battling with low RAM, and am never able to have more than one tab open in Opera without it reloading (and occasionally it will simply fail to load due to a lack of RAM). I've gone through and frozen everything I can, I've Greenified anything that runs in the background, but still have problems. At this point, I am just looking to get a new phone (minimum 3GB... I NEVER want to deal with this BS again) whenever I can find a job, but for the time being am stuck with this crap.

Will I be worse off with Lollipop?

Battery Backup tweak ---- 5+ hours SOT easily (Dual sim,cm12.1,RR)(Heavy Usage)

Tweaks to enhance battery......

Flash CM or RR (latest build)

Do not install xposed framework as it will cause random reboots,in result battery drain.

Install these three application:-
1. DS Battery Saver Pro
2. Greenify
3. Terminal Emulator

Go to the below link and download NITRO X SPARK V3.0 VISION OFFICIAL X86 version :-

Simply flash the downloaded zip file through cwm or twrp recovery.
Reboot your phone
Now go to Terminal emulator and type the following commands:
>su
>menu

[Help] Data usage problem

Hey, recently I found out the my mobile carrier and my phone (g3) doesnt count the data usage the same.
I downloaded "onavo count" to get another mesaure but it also give me diffrenet numbers.
All of them start at the same day, 19th.
Currently: phone: 1884MB
Onavo count: 2.4GB
Carrier: 1789MB

What can cause this kind of thing?
Maybe some malware using my data and not shown in my phone?

Recompiled LGSettings.apk high RAM usage

Hi folks, I'm trying to understand why if I modify LGSettings.apk, RAM usage go from 90-140mb to 160-210mb..
I've tried with several tools and apktool versions (RC and stable until now), Windows 8.1 and Windows 10 on various PCs; I've tried to decompile and recompile without modification or replace recompiled single .xml file (settingsheader.xml) in stock non modified apk...

I've modified a lot of LG apps without issues in past month, and near to create the flashable ZIP, I've noticed this strange behaviour..

Any help or advice??

Usage monitor on pc?

Do you know of any app that lets you monitor phone usage (cpu, ram, gpu, etc.) on pc through usb cable?

How to get mobile internet usage and balance from telecommunication companies

Normally, in my country, mobile users have to text the wordy and complex codes to telcos when they want to know their internet usage and balance.

I'm going to build up an application which allows users can check there information at anytime when they open the app on their mobile. I do not have any clue about the telcos having any API service for that or have to make the business deal with telecommunication companies.

I did attempt to figure out the way but nothing has come up yet. Does any one have any idea for that.

Battery Usage time

Greetings everyone,
I bought a verizon G4 yesterday and I was surprised that its battery won't last long as I expected, even with normal usage. It takes 10% for like 15-20 mins. while it was way more better with my beloved stolen G2...


What I am asking you (Verizon G4 useres) is to kindly share your experience with the battery here (preferably with screenshots) to be like a source for others...

high CPU usage

I got galaxy note 4 ,wanam ROM,xposed, 910c
When I connect to wifi or mobile internet cpu usage suddendly raises dramatically from about 5% or 6% to 30% or 40% (some times even more) and I'll get UI lag , superfast battery drain and superhot phone.. When I check "3c toolbox " I got this on the top of the list :

I have AFWALL firewall but disabling that didn't help...
The only option I got is to kill the process manually (which is a rough option you know )and after that every thing will be normal...
What's the problem?
