Popping sound from speakers

My Idol 3 have a popping sound from speaker after 2-3 seconds after the music or the sound from it finished. With other words when the speakers shut down the power, sometimes (more then 50%) speakers pops. I notice that is more often in Youtube app or notification sound then in Poweramp app for example (remember: the pops sound i hear only after the sound stops, when playing music there is no problem) . The sound is not so powerfull but you can hear it if you are in a quiet room or if you put the phone closer to the ears. How about you guys? Is my phone defective? :confused:

Weird drain after Unplug from charger.

Ok i have discovered someting weird in both my LG phones.

This LG G2 (802 EU Open) and my old LG 4x HD
I'm thinking this is a LG only issue as my other tablets and phones dont suffer from it.

So heres the issue.

Normaly my battery life is fine and i use it from full charge till it shuts down
This way it lasts me 4 to 5 days and about 8.5 hours screen on time and 30 min more for each day less in standby.
So in 1 day i need 10,5 hours to drain my battery (browsing whatsapp and video).

However if i charge my Phone BEFORE it shuts down hence no reboot it will start draining faster in idle and it only lasts me 1,5 to 2 days and 6,5 hours screen on time.
If i reboot after this unplug the drain dissappears and it works flawless again.

SO i Always NEED to reboot in order to get my max battery life either because the Phone shut down or a manual reboot after the unplug.

My old 4x HD does the exact same thing this Phone is on old v10H firmware which is android 4.01
My LG G2 is on v20H which is the last android 4.4 availeble.

I just mentiond the 4x HD as its a lg with simmilar issues but lets ignore it and find a fix or the cause for the G2.

The G2 is not rooted as it doesnt help my batery life without going deep and install xposed which im not willing to do.
I also have disabled some apps that where not forced on in the apps menu and thats about it!

I already did a factory reset and KDZ flash so thats not a solution.

Did anyone else notice this problem, Had variable battery life in the past which might be the same as this issue or does anyone know where to start looking for a fix?
Any help is welcome as its frustrating that when i forget to reboot my battery is dead when i need it...

How do I upgrade from 4.4.2 to 4.4.4?

I was on 4.4.4 on my rooted AT&T Galaxy S5. My phone was being very slow, so I decided to do a restore/reset. The only version of the Stock rom I could find online was 4.4.2 on Sammobile. Thus, I flashed 4.4.2 using Odin and did a factory reset and then rerooted using towelroot.

So now, I have been having an issue where gallery keep requesting to sign in to all of my google accounts. I did a quick google search and I found a few proposed solution ( uncheck the following in account sync: picasa, google+, google+ photo upload AND clear data/cache in the gallery app). I have tried all that and it didn't work. Gallery keep requesting sign-in for all my google account, despite I have uncheck the sync.

I did not have this issue when I was on 4.4.4. So I figure I should try to upgrade back to 4.4.4 (including the bug fixes and security updates AT&t reported they fixed). I did find a similar post (http://forum.xda-developers.com/att-...4-4-4-t3144212) but OP of that post wanted to upgrade to 5.0, which I do not want.

I want full access and a stable Xposed Framework, which from my understanding works only on a deodex'd rom (http://forum.xda-developers.com/xpos...lipop-t3113463) and I would prefer to use stock for android pay.

I also found this post on how to root 4.4.4 (http://forum.xda-developers.com/att-...-2015-t3021120). Since I am on NG3 already and taking the OTA update is not an option (I assume the OTA update will put me on lollipop), would flashing the G900A_NG3_to_OA1_OTA.zip file under Troubleshooting work for me? And when the post states "sideload from stock recovery" do they mean use Odin (if not, how would I do that)?

Can someone tell me how to upgrade to 4.4.4?

Uploading data from phone to pc

Hi, can anyone help a 'dummy' ? I have a huge amount of info on my Lumia 800 which I need to backup to my pc in case the phone dies on me suddenly (which almost happened recently). Can anyone tell me how to go about it? I did upload the Zune package which is what came up when I googled the Nokia PC suite, but although the Zune is successfully installed, I see nowhere within Zune that tells me how to upload phone numbers,addresses,photos and the like, from phone to pc, once the USB cable is connecting both.

Audio completely gone from loud speaker and call speaker please help

i installed latest rox cm12.1 build on my i9300i.
then audio wasnt working in call in 1st sim.
so i replaced the audioprimarymsm8226.so file with file from previous build as suggested in main thread.
now audio is completely gone from everywhere.
please help!!

How to Downgrade from android 5.1.1 to 4.4.2

Hi guys , I just updated my honor 6 to android 5.1 and wanted to root it , but its very very dificult to do . I decided to downgrade to 4.4.2 and easily root by kingroot . The problem is hwauei site don't allow me to downlaod the downgrade package b500 . Anyone can upload it here ???? One more thing , after downgrading to b500 , can I downgrade to build b393?? Because I have it downloaded.

Protected Z4 Tablet from Amazon Help!

A week ago I purchased a used Xperia Z4 tablet from Amazon. I had been wanting this tablet since it was announced and when I saw a used one for 6 I couldn't resist.
When I received the tablet it was in like new condition Plastic still on the screen etc., but when I powered it on it went into protect mode.
Oh well I figured I would just go on XDA an I would have it fixed in no time. Well I was wrong lol.
With this new MXTP software at bootloader level and no way to unlock root or anything else once activated, I gave up and called Amazon. They couldn't help me get out of protect mode. I called Sony.
Sony told me that I could send it in to be repaired. When they tried to create an rma they didn't know how because the Tablet has not been released in the USA, and it is not in there system.
They would have call there repair facility and figure out how to get it repaired.
After a week and a half of phone calls, Sony finally told me none of there repair facilities in the USA know how to work on this tablet. And They could not tell me where I could get it fixed.
Does anyone know how to fix this? or where in the USA I can get this tablet fixed?

Upgrade to an N6 from the LG G2?

I had been planning to jump on the Nexus 6P once it was widely available, but with the SD 810 in it I'm just not sold. I wanted to get some opinions if I should snag an N6 or hold out for next year's Nexus (or other SD 820 phone). I had a Galaxy Nexus (Verizon) prior to my LG G2 (Sprint), and while I love the G2 I sorta miss being on the Nexus platform. I've ran the ParanoidAndroid ROM for years and I really love vanilla Android, although it seems PA may not be as common on these phones as it has been on the GNex and G2.

I would like to have a bigger screen (although the 6" screen scares me a bit, but I do like my wife's Note 2). Is going from a SD800/2GB memory to the 805/3GB of the N6 a decent performance upgrade? My G2 isn't slow, but could be snappier.

Anyway, what's everyone's opinion? And if I do switch, and specific info I should be aware of about the N6? I did see that for Sprint network it sounds like I'll need the XT1103 model.

How to read key codes from input device?

I've been playing PC games on my phone using the Remotr app and a Moga Pro Power 2 controller. It's pretty awesome, but the deadzones on the sticks are ridiculous. I have to push the sticks almost a quarter of the way before it gets a response.

I discovered that in /system/usr/keylayout there are lots of *.kl files that correspond to devices on your phone. However, there are no files directly associated with the Moga, which has a vendor id 20d6 and device id 6271 according to /proc/bus/input/devices. So theoretically, there should be a Vendor_20d6_Product_6271.kl file.....but there isn't. Nor are there any other files listed here on the Android Developer Documentation.

So I adjusted the 'flat' values on controller axis, and named the file Vendor_20d6_Product_6271.kl .....but nothing has changed, no matter how low I set it.

I need to go back and make sure that the axis that I'm adjusting are correct, but I can't figure out how to look at how to double check this.

Alternatively, I might be editing the wrong file or have named my .kl file incorrectly, so if anyone could advise a way to make sure the file I think is getting called is actually getting called, would also be great.

Sprint Note 4 switches from 3g to 4g Often while at work

Good Day to all.
At work my phone switches from 4g to 3g often. I work on the Waterfront and my signal changes often. If I lock it on 4g thru hidden menu, it works for a while the I get the red "X" and no signal. I have to go back and change it to LTE/Cdma. After I do that it will go to 4g . Then 3g.
I have tried changing the band order the gttools. It only happens at work. Is there a setting that I can try to improve my 4g lock?
Or, should I do the carrier mod to a different carrier?
Any and all suggestions are appreciated.

I'm facing this busybox build error http://pastebin.com/R9tGELjg. I've build cm11 before and never faced this error. I dug for commits but can't find any. I would like to try to disable "warn_unused_result [-Wunused-result]" to see if that will solve the errors but I know how any help on either of the issues I'm having. Thanks.

I found all the step by step instructions how to root it to 5.1 lollipop(as much i understood i need to root it on kk and after to flash it to lollipop) but my concern is how to downgrade firmware from 21.21.15quark_verizon.en.us to firmware 21.44.12. so i can do a rooting after. I was digging all over internet especially on this forum and i couldn't find any instructions how to do it. I will need step by step about this. Want to revert to stock recovery, where can I get current one from the recent OTA?

I flashed an OTA that was modified to work with TWRP, prior to that I unrooted, uninstalled xposed and flashed my current system files. OTA went well and I rerooted but no xposed.

My battery has been pretty bad since the update so I want to do a factory reset. I figure while I am at it I want to go back to stock recovery and not root immediately so I can see if Android pay will actually work.

Recover Data from Cracked Screen Galaxy S5 Active (No Display)

I'm hoping this is the right category for this post. I'm working on a phone for a client of mine. This is a Samsung Galaxy S5 Active. We want to recover the photos and contacts. This is the current situation:
- Cracked Screen (No Display)
- Powers On (Hear all sounds, which makes it to the lock screen)
- Passcode is enabled (I have the passcode)
- USB Debugging is Disabled

Is there anyway to recover that without replacing screen, or swapping logic boards, etc? For example, maybe using SDK tools or ADB. Or a third-part program out there.

TWRP restore from a white GS3 to a black GS3?

Hey man for my white GS3 I had made a TWRP backup I wanted to know:
1. Can I restore a TWRP backup I had made on my white GS3 to my black GS3? Are there any partitions I should avoid doing this with (ie cache)?
