"COM Port" Error - Connecting Smartwatch to PC

Hi everyone! :D

I've tried loads of stuff to try and find a solution to this problem, but couldn't find one so far.

Basically, I have what I believe is a u80 SmartWatch. It has a micro-USB port, in which the watch detects if it is connected to a socket charger or a PC.

When plugged into a PC, a notification on the watch tells me it's connected to USB, and gives me only one option: "COM Port". When I tap it, I get an error "Not allow or conflict". Obviously this watch wasn't made anywhere where English is the first language. I changed it to a couple of other languages, and tried again. This time, in other languages, the error changes to "USB: UART2 is busy".

The watch is not detected by any OS or computer that I've tried. It doesn't appear in device manager or USBDeview, therefore I cannot attempt to install drivers to get it functioning.

From what I've read, my watch could be a cheap clone or remake of a u8 or u80 smartwatch, but the developers would have had to get the watch OS on there somehow. I don't intend to flash it, as apparently that can damage clones. I am just trying to access the file system to play around with it and/or tweak some settings.

Does anyone have any idea what these errors mean or how to fix them?

Connecting Moverio BT-200 to Windows 8 directly with Miracast

Hi all,

Did anyone succeed already to make the Moverio BT-200 be monitor for a Windows 8 PC using Miracast?

This is what I tried already. Apologies for not adding the weblinks, but the forum rules won't allow.

1) The problem is that the BT-200 has a qHD resolution of 960 x 540 which is not supported by Windows 8. Therefore, I set the DownScaling bit to 1 in the registry. (Start Regedit, find all occurrences of Display1_DownScalingSupported and set the value(s) to 1).

2) I then started Miracast on Windows 8: go to right bottom corner, in the menu select "Devices" / select "Project" / click the dimmed "Add a wireless display".

3) On the BT-200 start a "Moverio mirror" session. It takes some synchronization effort to get the two devices see each other and get connected (have some patience while trying).

In the end I got the two connected, but I only get a black screen on the BT-200. When I try to configure the modes (right click on the desktop / choose "Screen Resolution / click "Advanced settings" / "Adapter" tab / "List all modes" button), the only mode shown is 1280 by 720 at 60 Hz.

Any way how I can fool the modes into a 960 x 540 configuration? Even better: how can I set up the Miracast connection as primary screen at startup?

Oh, and yes, I do have an Epson Wireless Mirroring Adapter, but it's not showing me the proper graphics either. for that reason I tried making the direct Miracast connection built-in into Windows 8.

Having Problem in connecting S4 to Mac using Android File Tranfer

Hi,

I was using the Android file Transfer to copy file and stuff on my S4 all thing was working fine. After that i install kies on my mac to update the S4 and this is the terrible mistake i made. After that my s4 cannot connect to mac using android file tranfer. always says "try reconnecting or restart"

I tried all things using diffrent cable.
Restart mac and s4
unistall kies

But same problem please guys help me out with this.

All VPN apps are not connecting on My rooted Z3

I updated my phone to 23.4.A.1.200 by pre-rooted room
I have NUT dual recovery + Xposed version 74
everything is working well expect the VPN apps !! they are not connecting !!

-I tired Hotspot shield and after one second it cancels the connection !!

-I tried Psiphon and it's working only in browser mode.. whole device mode is not working.. neither "force root tunnel.." in it's log it's saying: "Root mode is not supported on this version of android"

-Also Orbot is not working in whole device mode

-I tried many VPN apps but they are not connecting!!

- I tired to deactivated all the Xposed modules and still no luck..

-Before using the VPN apps today I installed Busybox pro and it caused problem with the dual recovery and my device didn't see the memory card.. But I fixed that by reinstall the dual recovery.. and After that I uninstalled busybox by the smart uninstall method.. I don't know If this may caused the VPN problem in my phone..

-’My friend Z3 23.4.A.1.200 without root does not have this issue..
any solution ??
