Front camera

Has anyone had the issue of the front camera not taking a picture no matter what camera program you use. When I open camera programs, I can see a picture, but when I click the icon (in any of the programs) the apps just sort of freeze. When I do it in the stock camera app, all the icons on the left dissapper and it only sits there. No pictures are ever taken.

This is a replacement tablet that I got from Sony a week ago that I rooted. I did not try the camera before.

Front camera problems

This phone is dope except for my front camera!
Bought 8/16. Worked great the first couple weeks. Love the glamour face feature in selfie mode. About 3 weeks in, the camera started crashing in selfie mode. If I flip it quickly it won't FC, but 9/10 it closes. If it doesn't close, it does this weird split/pink overlay screen thing.
HALP! I'm on Sprint with the ZD5 build, not rooted. Any suggestions or do Ibbq need to take it back??

Problem with front buttons in camera app

Hello,
I have problem with front buttons. This bug is only in camera app. I deleted data from xposed, gravity box, g2 tweak box g2/g3 but still is the problem.

Xperia Z2 CM12.1- Front Camera Very Low Quality and High Exposure

firstly am a noob :D
it is very low in quality and very high in exposure after capturing ,i tried many apps but it looks like its in the build
am really asking for a fix if there is one

I9500 Front Camera awefully grainy

Hey people!
I have an I9500 and i love the phone except that my phone's front camera totally sucks. There is a hell lot of noise in the pictures even in plentyful light. So much so that it seems that the pictures were taken with a VGA camera.The rear camera is perfect though.
I'm using the S6 Aurora Port v2.

Someone help me out please? I want good selfies back :p

Moto X Front Flash

Hey...just got 2 moto x's today and noticed on the front flash for both them, the flash itself is a little raised from the screen...and can be pushed in slightly. Was wondering if anyone else who has the phone has this as well? Seems odd to be a design thing, but just wanted to see? Thanks!

Mi 4i - one more reason why mi 4i front camera looks more capable then back

Mi 4i front camera can record video in 1080p with 50 frame per second
While back camera can record video in 1080p with 25 frame per second

S6 Edge Front Glass replacement.

Hi All.

Just checking in on whether anyone has successfully replaced the front Glass yet?
The only other thread I could find on here said a firm no, but that was in May.

My local New Zealand Equivalent to Ebay had a front glass for , so I'm willing to give that a go before I fork out a few hundred for a new screen.
I can't post links because of my post count, but if you go to youtube: /watch?v=RPcqihr8IFc&t=46m25s
you can see him peeling off a sheet with circuitry on it. I think I could carry out the repair if I knew how to separate the glass from that sheet to stop it breaking.

I'm careful and take my time, and I've done a few of these things before. That said, if it can't be done, it can't be done and I may as well not half wreck my phone and just take it to a shop to get the whole thing replaced.
Have you done it? What do you think?

Using front dashcam with RK3066/RK3188 units???

I just wonder if anyone has setup a front dash camera with RK3066/RF3188 head units. What application do you use to to record video from USB front camera in the background? How do you configure this application to launch automatically on boot and start recording immediately in background?

Long term durability of z3 front and back glass?

Hi,
A Question for people who use bare z3 or just a back case without anything on the front, long term and as daily driver as the only smartphone:
How is your z3 glass holding in regard to scratches/shattering/dirt/oleophobic coating, etc? did you have some inevitable sand scratches or such?
I'm planing to buy z5 premium when it launches and i'm considering using it only with a back case and maybe bare for sometimes for a change because i usually use a leather folder case that protects both the front and back. I'm assuming sony uses the same glass of z3. If i will use a back cover i'm more worried of scratches then shattering because i take a good care of my smartphone. A small scratch hurts my heart especially when the phone is in its early years (i usually replace my phone every 4-5 years) so knowing what i'm facing will help me decide. As for glass protector i read that it degrades from the experience though i never tried one.
