Rear “back" camera isn't working

Hi...
I bought htc desire 816 dual from a year ago. Last month the rear camera isn't working. Actually it isn't recognized by phone as when I open the camera app it opens the front camera only... I tried different solution.. I tried downloading other camera apps.. Doing a hard reset.. And finally flashing the CM12 but the problem wasn't fixed... So any of you guys knows how to fix?,

Way to flash back to MDB stock?

I'm currently using baseband version I337UCUAMDB and running CM12. In order to unlock my phone through ATT it seems that I'll have to get it back to stock, but all the places I see tutorials for how to get back to stock don't include the MDB bootloader. I would ideally not want to go to MDF or newer. Any suggestions on how to do this would be very helpful!

Unable to mount - problems with TWRP during back up

I have a G900F with the stock rom on it which is running poorly and want to install the Cymogened 12.1 rom.

I have successfully managed to root my phone and install TWRP 2.8.7.0

I cannot make a back up of my existing rom!!!!

when i go into back up on TWRP the first thing i get in RED is

E:Unable to mount 'data'

it then proceeds to try and make a back and then fails

I have tried the following things with no luck
- formatting the sd card in the phone and on the laptop through 3 different formats
- trried to make a back up locally but cant as not enough space
- used the sd card formatter to format the sd card
- a 2gb, 16gb and 32gb sd card with no joy
- run root checker to ensure its fully rooted and it is
- run the micro sd card fix that was disabled in kit kat
- tried to use CWM recovery to make the back up and that did the same thing

does any of the below info help

- i have managed to factory reset my phone before without any problems
-i used my phone for work and use gmail and therefore the phone is encrypted , will this have a bearing on me not being able to make a back up to teh sd card or locally

please help as this is driving me insane :)

Should I Send Back This Phone?

I got the samsung galaxy s6 from AT&T as 'Basically new', which means someone got the phone, just didn't want it and sent it back. Nothing is wrong with it they just didn't want it. Anyway, I want to root this phone but I cant because its on LRX22G.G920AUCU2AOF3 android 5.0.2. Should I send this phone back and get a brand new one or should I stick to this one and wait for a root? Right now i'm not using the phone because I kind of need root to do certain things on it and i don't really want to live without them for a long time. So should I keep it or should I return and get a new one?

Back to Stock Recovery only

Hi all,

how can get back my stock boot recovery (or whatever)?

I Stocked my cooperve with odin and just flashed Rafael-Kernel.
Everything was fine.
Then I made only a Backup with CWM 5028 and 6053 and now in Bootloop.
What can I do to boot existing Stock-ROM again without loosing data.
I can´t understand that I couldnt make a Backup with CWM and now device is nearly dead.

Help bring my G3 back to life!!!

So, here's the story: I wanted to root my d850 on LP version D85021R, Tried all methods posted here, including this, this, and this. None worked. So I decided to downgrade to KK using tot/kdz method by hyelton. Downloaded LGD850AT-01-V10d-310-410-JUN-19-2014+0.tot file and LG flash tool 1.8.x and flashed the tot file. Progress went above 85% and then phone rebooted, but never came back to life; super-bricked, no led, no boot screen, no download mode, no recovery mode, NOTHING! except that it identified as QHUSB_BULK in Win7, which upon installation of drivers turned to qhsusb_dload 9008. Tried all unbricking methods including Board Diag, Flashtool ,etc. none worked. So I took it to a repair guy, who probably used octopus box to copy image from another g3 (at least that's what I think, he would not let me see but i sort of glanced over). After copying that image to my g3, it turned back to life, i.e., boot screen appeared and download mode/recovery mode worked, but it was in a boot loop. however, that guy also tried flashing V10D using flashtool, and same thing happened, i.e., super-brick again. After a day of trying he gave up on it but was kind enough to give it back half alive. So now boot screen appears, download mode works, gets recognized as LGE Mobile USB Serial Port, and LGE Android MTP Device with a yellow triangle. I cannot access fastboot mode due to locked bootloader, or else I would have tried flashing partition images through fastboot, as bootloader and boot partitions are intact, so I would not touch them but could try flashing other partitions. LG Flashtool flashes the whole package so the boot sector also gets over written, which somehow is not compatible with stock rom. One thing which I have not mentioned is that I did not buy it new but refurb one, so may be some part was changed, but which one, no idea. I tried to get it recognized it in linux, but does not work; shows up as libmtp-1-1 in /dev, which is not mountable. However I was able to pullout one interesting fact, which might give some hint. dmesgs shows a serial number for this device which starts as LGD855xxxxxxx, whereas the serial number printed on the back is different, where it shows as d850 and serial number is also different, i.e., 406KPXVxxxxxx.
Now I am out of options. Can someone please suggest what else to do. Also, can someone confirm that the serial number shown in dmesgs when connected to USB port, starting with LGD855xxxxxx can be a d850?

[Q]Odin'd back to stock lost everything (of course)

Hey guys, I Odin'd back to stock and upgraded to 5.1.1 after having it rooted since root was available. I unfortunately presumed my phones photos were backed up through Google Photos but they weren't. Everything I search requires root so that's not an option. Is there any other options that maybe you guys have from experience that could help me out? Thanks guys and sorry for the long read.

How to go back to bold & light clock widgets ?

Hello,
I am rooted & using the latest version (.200) of the official stock rom from Sony. The .546 version suppressed the bold & light numbers on the widget of Sony's official clock app.
Is there a way to fix it and revert back to the bold & light style wich was a lot better imo ? (I definitly thought Sony would fix it in the .200 update but well ... That's not the case !)

I always used custom roms CM,

i flash stock rom I9505XXUHOH2_I9505TPHHOI1_I9505XXUHOH2
and now my back button / key don't work.

any fix ?

O button work like back button in most emulators!

First I love my xperia play and I feel sad that no company done another cel like this with hidden buttons =\

. Recently I installed some emulators from google play like mame, Final burn,etc
and the O button works just like the back button from our phone and that makes the emulator close as usual. There's no config in changing this in emulators config options. I can let the O button as blank if I want, but I want use it!

For example: Street fighter 2 has 6 buttons in arcade weak punch, mid punch, strong punch, weak kick, mid kick, strong kick.
I want use all my 6 buttons in my xperia play to be like this
weak punch -Square
mid punch - L
strong punch - Triangle
weak kick- X
mid kick - R
strong kick - O

but if I press the O button, the emulator close instead simulate the strong kick.

Anybody knows how to fix thix?
I heard that in other android games(no emulators) this happen too.

Bringing back Hide App in Galaxy Note3

I have a Note3 SM-N9005, ANDROID-4.4.2, N9005XXUGNG1. I would like to bring back "Hide App" in my phone. Any one can help please.

Possible to flash back to stock without a current factory image?

Hoping there's a way to do this. I took the update that addressed Stagefright. I then flashed to Cyanogenmod for a little while but wanted to go back to stock due to a couple issues I'm having.

As I got myself ready to restore to stock I realized I didn't have the right factory image. I checked motorola's website... and found that they have not yet updated the factory image to the latest build. The restore process failed on the first step ("fastboot flash partition gpt.bin") telling me that I cannot downgrade.

What are my options here? Is there any way to get back to stock or do I need to wait for Motorola to upload an up-to-date factory image?

What do I need to do to go back to full stock? Is it enough to just flash the stock zip in recovery and then lock via fastboot command or do I need to flash something else too?

Trouble Flashing Galaxy S3 I9305 back to Custom Rom

im wondering if i can get some help. A friend of mine put Pac Rom on my phone in May 2015 and me being stupid, i decided to put it back to stock a few weeks ago using samsung kies. little did i realise what im actually missing out on. so i have tried to flash back to Pac Rom and Carbon Rom and nothing is working. i can flash GAPPS but when i try to reboot, it only comes up as the S3 Stock boot. i cant access anything. i have wiped system, have wiped Dalvik Cache and Cache. i still have TWRP installed to use but nothing seems to work except GAPPS
CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME?!?!:crying:

I have three G4 wireless charger receiver ( BY LG, CHOETECH, Ankway) anything is prefect. but for the wireless charger i do hope the can get charging not only by put the phone on the wireless charger.

I'm planning on returning my Verizon LG G2 VS980 back to exchange for the ATT variant. Sorry if this question is obvious but I was wondering how to revert back to stock, like on 4.4.2 with LG's original os. As of now I'm on 5.1.1 Blisspop and should I use KDZ Method or the TOT Method? Is it even safe to try reverting back? or did I screw up by installing lollipop. Sorry I'm only used to using Samsung phones and using odin to bring them back to stock.
