When on call w/ speakerphone my mic doesn't work

I was on Blisspop 5.0.2 then went to 5.1.1 and lost the ability to use my speakerphone, regular calls are fine. Soundhound works fine as well as Google Now, so I believe the mic is working. I can hear the other person fine, however they cannot hear me at all or I sound very far away. I've since wiped reverted to stock CM12.1 and still no dice. I've tried the lowmic zip and that did not help either. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have searched and the only similar post there were no replies. Thank you!

Horrible speakerphone quality

Does anyone have issues with terrible speakerphone quality when on voice calls? I always gt an earful of painful static when I use the speakerphone.

I've tried factory resets but still no change...

Only one active speaker when in-call on speakerphone

I notice that when I use speakerphone when in a call, only the bottom speaker is active, the top doesn't have any sound at all? Anyone else notice this?
