Recover Data from Cracked Screen Galaxy S5 Active (No Display)

I'm hoping this is the right category for this post. I'm working on a phone for a client of mine. This is a Samsung Galaxy S5 Active. We want to recover the photos and contacts. This is the current situation:
- Cracked Screen (No Display)
- Powers On (Hear all sounds, which makes it to the lock screen)
- Passcode is enabled (I have the passcode)
- USB Debugging is Disabled

Is there anyway to recover that without replacing screen, or swapping logic boards, etc? For example, maybe using SDK tools or ADB. Or a third-part program out there.

[Q] Disable lockscreen with multiple users active?

Hello xda community,

Does anyone know a way to disable lockscreen when multiple users(pic.2) are created on same device running 5.0.2 - 5.1.1? Preferably no-root method.

Just an idea, not possible probably: Single Tap instead of Active Display

Something that's been bugging me with my active display is where I have my phone mounted in my car to the right of my steering wheel. It's constantly popping up the time / active display when I move at all. I'm sure this is speeding up battery drain. It also happens a lot when I'm at my desktop at home and at work since I keep the phone nearby, upright in my keyboard's built-in dock or laying flat on the desk between my arms.

While I LOVE the idea, it would be nice to incorporate the option to have it activate via single tap instead of waving over or looking at the device. It comes up a lot when I'm not looking at it and not really waving over it. Any movement near it seems to bring that screen up and since it's not AMOLED, it is lighting every single pixel enough to worry me on drain. I've looked at displaying active display, but then I lose the entire convenience of not having to press the physical power button.

My LG G4 had a double-tap, but I think I would enjoy a single tap or something. Does anyone know of my options to disable the wave or looking at the phone waking but still have convenience? I swear I read there's an option to have it activate on movement of the phone, but not the waving detection... but can't seem to put that together myself.

Galaxy S5 Active (SM-G870A) stuck in bootloop!

I don't really know why my phone is stuck in a bootloop to begin with. I've tried EVERYTHING I could possibly think of! :(

Here's What I've tried :
WipeData/Factory Reset and I also wiped Cache.
I tried to use ODIN to flash the original stock ROM to the device but the bootloader is locked so its impossible to flash any ROM to the devices (Even if it's official).
I tried to apply the Lollipop 5.0 update in recovery using a external SD card.
I tried using ADB sideload.

(Bonus points if you can give me away to unlock the bootloader! because i'll know what to do if it's unlocked.) ;)
So...If anyone has suggestions, I'll happily take any! :)
Also Please! Leave links so I have quick access!

Battery is draining fast after 5.1.1 Update. Facebook is keeping Mobile Radio Active

After Android 5.1.1 update on my Xperia ZR, The Facebook App and other Apps are keeping Mobile Radio Active for very very long time. This is causing severe battery drain.. Is there any fix for this issue?

Mobile radio active bug under 5.1.1

Hey everyone,

I just wanted to ask for some experiences with the "mobile radio active bug" under 5.1.1. Is there anyone who had this bug on a previous version and recently updated to 5.1.1? What are your experiences? Did it go away, did it improve, didn't it change at all?

To clarify, the mobile radio active bug is a bug specific to Lollipop under various android phones. It's symptoms are (though they might not be related):
- significantly reduced battery life (especially when screen is off)
- unusually high times under the mobile radio active stats in the battery monitor (mra times were almost as high as the run time itself)
- apps establishing internet connections (like whatsapp, facebook, chrome) are by far the top battery consumers (according to the battery stats)
For further information there are bug reports at google regarding these issues:
https://code.google.com/p/android/is...tail?id=165558 (Report for Android LP)
https://code.google.com/p/android-de...detail?id=2556 (Report for Android M)

To isolate it from similar bugs encountered with LP:
- it is not a bug that results in sudden drops of battery %
- it is not a bug that won't let you charge your phone
- it is not a bug that keeps the cpu awake (by google services or other apps)

So, what are your experiences?

Thanks in advance
Walli

Is there ever gonna be a root for ATT S6 active? These ads are driving me insane!

I'm considering returning the phone if no root is ever going to come back even though I love it.. I still have my LG g3 but at least its rooted and ad free! I've tried to search the internet and haven't really found any concrete word on it.

Only one active speaker when in-call on speakerphone

I notice that when I use speakerphone when in a call, only the bottom speaker is active, the top doesn't have any sound at all? Anyone else notice this?

Oneplus One - Mobile Radio Active

Phone : Oneplus One 64gb version
OS : CyanogenMod 12.1 Nightly Last Update

The problem that i have is that all my apps remain with mobile radio active when i am on 3G/4G , my question is : Is there any version of lollipop that doesn't have this issue or some kind of fix for this problem ? i tried Greenify + Xposed , but didn't have any satisfying results to keep that app.

I'm sorry if anyone else mentioned this issue before, but it's really frustrating to lose so much battery from this...
