There are so many to choose from, I've somewhat narrowed it down to a few but will not exclude others. MicroSD expansion, removeable battery, rootability and running custom roms make up my criteria. I am on AT&T currently using a Note 4, my carrier limits some of the samsung devices from being root friendly, so really not looking at the s6 and note 5 although I could buy a T-Mobile variant and use it on at&t. Really like what I see from the moto x style (pure), lg nexus 5x(awaiting verified specs), Huawei nexus 6p (awaiting verified specs) and the lg g4. Tomorrow (9/29/15) is the Google announcement of the two new Nexus devices (LG 5x and Huawei 6PP) and the first two devices to be running Android 6.0 Marshmallow. I enjoy reading the input of fellow xda members and figured if you were me, which one would you pick? Or would you pick something else?

While we're on the topic of the Samsung Galaxy S7, what about the Galaxy S700?
*In the year 2709*
The new Samsung Galaxy S700.
Completely holopgraphic and transparent.
So thin it can slice an atom. (We're doomed.)
With 128YB (Yottabytes) of internal storage, you'll never run out of space.
And with 16384YB of RAM, performance will ALWAYS be up-to-date.
It's so good at picking up reception that you can Snapchat your friends during your trip to Pluto, without Intergalactic Roaming or WiFi.
True 70G speeds ensure that you will have speedy connectivity, no matter where you are.
The new camera can take 9001-megapixel photos and record 1024K video at 6,000,000,000,000 frames per second.
The new front-facing camera lets you take 6000-megapixel selfies and record yourself at 256K resolutions.
The new 845" display let's you see everything, and with a 1024K resolution, you'll forget that the pixels are even there.
With a 733THz 1024-bit 4096-core processor, lag will be impossible for at least another 100 years.
Starting at ,999,999,999,999 (9 in 2015) for the 128YB model, without a contract. (,999,999,999,999 for a 2-year contract.)
