Everything works great on the 2015 kindle fire 7 all my apps from the play store work great besides YouTube. I've tried older versions resetting all my data and cache and I've used different networks still not working

App asking for network after I open cover

Hi,

So when I open my flip cover and have no Internet access, I get a textbox saying there is no network, check network and try again. So I guess an app is always trying to connect to Internet. But I don't know from which app this comes so I can't turn it off. Is there a log out something so I can see which app gives this textbox?

Different IMEI number causing network problems!

Hello,

So I just got my SM-G9200 and I have a problem. The IMEI number on the box is different from what is on the phone, so I can't get any cellular connection. I called my provider and they told me that needs to be worked out or else I won't be able to connect to the network.

The problem is that I bought this phone used and can't get a hold on the seller... How can I solve this? Should I buy a new IMEI?

Can I re-enable "Global" / LTE Band 3 network mode on Lollipop?

Hi,

I am in Australia and I got an unlocked Spring Galaxy S5 g900p which I was using with Vodafone AU on 4G.

Last night I updated to the latest g900p firmware using Odin to get the stagefright patch and afterwards I am only getting 3G. The "Global" network mode is gone and was replaced with "Automatic." Is there a way in the system where I can re-enable "Global" or atleast LTE Band 3? I am rooted with the latest stock firmware.

Any help is appreciated.

Factory Reset my S6 with Odin No Network!

I rooted with ping pong root, followed these guides to do my "OTA" updates:

Then I used this file with Odin, to factory reset:

Now it seems to have factory reset it but it says I have no IMEI, network unknown, etc....

I am suspecting that its something to do with those updates I did and flashing the Modem drivers, which maybe need to be downgraded now? or if i can update my software somehow with a legit version?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Meizu mx 5 SLOW Network Connection

Hi guys i have a problem with my new meizu mx 5 .He has a slow internet connection,i cant see a video on youtube etc ,the only think i can do i send some watsap msg.
how can its posible ? i had the A versione and i change it to I versione but nothing.
Every time i do the speed test the download speed is 0,06 Mbps.....Realy dont know what to do.

Got a G4 from AT&T and unlocked but with Tmobile network.

So right now I confused about I can't turn on hotspot and never get software up.
Is that because my att phone with tmobile network?

My xt1033 is unable to use any wifi network with open security that required browser sign-in procedure.

I am using a sprint (not boost, but I guess hardware is the same) prepaid x1526 with LTE. Installed cm12.1 20150927 build. Wifi cannot get IP and the network is stuck to boost. I need to switch to sprint to get data/LTE. I can make calls. Thanks!

Do I need a Verizon HTC One M9 to use Verizon's network?

I'm currently on a Verizon HTC One M7 and due for am upgrade. Rather than doing the two year subsidized contract, however, I am considering buying an unlocked version of the phone on Swappa for 0 or so and then just bringing that phone to Verizon.

Is this possible? Back in the day I recall that wouldn't work because Sprint and Verizon used CDMA bands while the rest used GSM with Sim cards and the like, but I thought I remember reading that it's no longer a problem on Verizon.

So can I buy an unlocked M9 and bring it over or does it have to be a Verizon specific model to work?

No network signal. Tazzy-Aurora v3 ROM, N9005XXUGBOI2 Baseband

Hey guys,

So I've just installed Tazzy Aurora v3 ROM after updating to stock OI2 5.0 ROM and rerooting. My signal keeps flickering between 2 bars and no signal but in actual fact I'm getting no signal - I've tried flashing XXUGBOD3 and XXUGBOD1 modems but having no success (I'm on UK Vodafone). Also, the baseband number is not changing when I flash new modems (just shows OI2), is this supposed to be the case? Does someone know how to repair the signal?

Sprint N910P on Bell Canada's LTE Network!

I was able to get into the "Service Mode" main menu. Under option 2) UE SETTINGS & INFO then SETTINGS and finally PROTOCOL MENU. Option 2) NAS. Which shows LTE related stuff. The first option NETWORK CONTROL then option 5 "PREF MODE SET"
There I selected GSM_WCDMA_LTE and I was prompted to reboot the device. I did so and noticed the 3G still there not 4G or LTE.
I did a speed test (wifi not set up) on data with my providers LTE apn settings and my speeds went up. Before playing in the service menu I averaged 3.5meg down and about 650kbs up. Now I'm getting on average 12meg down and 8meg up!

I noticed a lot of other LTE related options in the service menu. Like band(s) and things. Does anybody know if I need to change any other options in the service menu to get true LTE.

Note II - LTE suddenly asks for Sim Network Unlock PIN

I have this phone GT-N7105 which I received from France as a gift from my brother. When I got it one and half years ago, it had its original network customized (Orange) stock OS. However, about 6 months later, I installed the latest (4.2.2 kitkat) version from sammobile and upgraded the OS. It was working fine as well. About 2-3 weeks back, I installed CM12-nightly lollipop custom rom on it and it was still performing well. After installing one of the updates from CM12-nightly a week ago, the phone suddenly displayed the message "SIM/RUIM Perso Locked- Emergency Calls Only". And once you reboot the phone, it asks for Sim Network Unlock Pin code. I reflashed the phone with original 4.4.2, then reflashed the modem, but still no luck. Any tips or suggestions?

Need help with WIND samsung galaxy s6 network unlock code

If anyone has experience unlocking a WIND samsung galaxy s6 to use with other carriers I would appreciate it. I have purchased an unlock code for the phone but was unsuccessful in unlocking the network so I can use it on rogers.

The phone is factory restored, not rooted, and running android version 5.0.2 (product code: g920wzdaglw). I have codes for the network, provider and subprovider and tried them all without any success. I do not know how many unlock attempts the phone has remaining before its hard locked but I have tried 4 times. I also have a defreeze code.

Sorry if this has been answered elsewhere but I did not find anyone else having issues unlocking their phones except with T-mobile. I can provide any other information if that helps.

Tried ale these: Patched_XXUGMK6_modem.zip, XXUGMK6 Modem, XXEMG4 (EFS V2), JustArchi_Kernel_XXUGMK6 etc. All dedicated for EFS2

Did all that what was instructed and I am still having an issue with our beloved "Not registered in network" thing

It seems it is all okay, I have IMEI number same as under battery, Network bars are avaialable, Network recognized (as above in screenshot: Chess) radio is working but still can't register network. I have passed miles digging on web - every thing hopeless. In Get RIL it says that it is not installed, maybe that is a crucial thing. Guess the only explanation is that my EFS is corrupted.

Trying to troubleshoot wifi hotspot on unlocked sprint note5/att network......

I'm trying to troubleshoot a no wifi hotspot situation and need these files but the Att note 5 doesn't have root to access these files. I knew the Att note 3 has root because I had one at one time. I was told that these files are not device specific but carrier specific.
