Anyway to disable Band 4 LTE?

The phone keeps switching over to Band 4 from Band 13. When it does this, the upload bandwidth slows to a crawl and makes the web fairly useless. Is there a way to force Band 13 or disable Band 4? I know you can on some LG and Samsung devices.
Does the programming menu allow that? I still haven't figured out how to access the program menu.

Band 12

How do we know if a pure nexus phone using which band? I know Samsung it is easy to do but for nexus I am not sure.

LTE band 41 on China mobile with sprint note 5

Traveling to china and was hoping to just bring one phone. Anyone know if I would get LTE on band 41 with the note 5?

Band 12 On T-Mobile

Anyone confirmed band 12 actually works on the Axon with T-Mobile? I understand it is blocked currently for the Motorola X Style and the Nexus 5X/6P due to VOLTE concerns.

Can I re-enable "Global" / LTE Band 3 network mode on Lollipop?

Hi,

I am in Australia and I got an unlocked Spring Galaxy S5 g900p which I was using with Vodafone AU on 4G.

Last night I updated to the latest g900p firmware using Odin to get the stagefright patch and afterwards I am only getting 3G. The "Global" network mode is gone and was replaced with "Automatic." Is there a way in the system where I can re-enable "Global" or atleast LTE Band 3? I am rooted with the latest stock firmware.

Any help is appreciated.

This is a real disappointment. Granted it will eventually be added (hardware is already there, just isn't certified on T-Mo yet) but Band 12 support is the the biggest reason I want this phone. T-Mo inside of building is basically non-existent to the point I've considered changing carriers. My 6p doesn't arrive for a few weeks but I may cancel the pre-order before then because of this news.

Band 12 - T-Mobile

So I'm not the brightest with the different frequencies etc... What I do know is that Band 12 on T-Mobile has greater building penetration, and that it's currently not supported on the Nexus 6P, despite the phone having the band. My question is, what functionality do I lose? Aside from having more penetrating power, which gives me better signal, do I lose anything else? Honestly, I'm pretty sure Band 12 isn't even in Columbus, Ohio (where I am) yet... but I don't wanna buy this phone and then Band 12 go live here and then I lose LTE, if that's even what happens... or would it just resort to the current band 4?

App that show LTE Band, which i am connected to

i was not able to find a decent app, which shows network status informations. I am on a Qualcomm SD810 Device and unlocked some LTE bands. Now i would like to check, if the process worked.
Can some of you recommend an app, which shows me, to which lte band i am currently connected ?

Replacement pins for link band?

I have a black/black Huawei Android Wear watch, and I might have damaged some pins resizing the band. I took the pins out in the direction of the arrow, but noticed they stuck at the end. I might have compressed them, because now they do not fit snugly back into the band hole.

Does anyone know where to get replacement pins? My pins wiggle out sometimes when the band is at rest.

Also, what direction do you take the pins out? With or against the arrow?

Enable 1700 band on 910c?

Is there anyway to enable 1700 AWS /LTE on the 910C using QPST?
I know a few phones have benefited from a QPST modification in the past.

I'm interested in the Exynos Note 4 and would like to use with tmobile however I wonder if there's a way to enable all of the tmobile bands to work to ensure 100% network phone & data coverage compatibility.

It seems the only issue tmobile has is the missing 1700 band for 3G aws, 4G aws & LTE.

Is there a way to enable the 1700 band on the 910C using QPST?

Band 17 on T-Mobile version?

I use a 920t on Cricket, effectively ATT, and I'm routinely connected to band 17 for LTE. So, apparently they do possess band 17, or at least some do. I am connected to band 2 more than I was on my Note 4, but I still see band 17 many times a day.

Telus confusion... LTE Band

So if I run LTE discovery, it shows LTE band is 4, if I go into *#*#3282#*#* it shows bands 12,25,26,41 nothing else..... Also all 4 of these bands have a priority setting of 0....If I go into *#*#4636#*#* and go into the menu , select radio band...it shows USA Band, Band Mode 6, Band Mode 7 and Band mode 15 which is weird no indication of band 4 anywhere..... I read that Telus's fastest LTE is on Band 7 but I have no clue how to get there.... I am downtown Calgary so there should be coverage... any suggestions?

Band 12 support

Hey all,

I know there's been some discussion about whether this device supports band 12 on T Mobile. LTE Discovery reports that my OP2 running 2.0.2 shows in fact connect to band 12. It drops down to HSPA when I make a voice call, but otherwise connects to band 12 for data.

T-Mobile Band 12 Testing?

Has anyone actually tested a Moto X Pure 2015 in a T-Mobile LTE Band 12 area to see if the phone actually has T-Mobile Band 12 disabled, and how the phone handles that if so?

The Motorola website still shows LTE Band 12, with the footnote that it varies by carrier. Compare this with the Moto G, which initially showed Band 12 and then suddenly Band 12 disappeared from the Motorola specs page without any explanation from Motorola.
