I made the mistake of purchasing a TW version. What is the current status of switching to US/WW and having it pick up the US LTE bands? Ive found a few threads on this but they all seem to have pending information.

Has anyone updated to the final Android 5.1.1 and how is the battery life compared to Android 4.4.x on Ascend Mate 7?

Using NA Version In Japan

So I live Tokyo Japan. I would easily buy the Japanese version, but the the price is rape city at ¥74,000. Does anyone know if the North American version will work in Japan? The NA version even at proper dollar conversion is at only ¥59,000 yen.

Need td ROM version for redmi note

Can any one provide me a link to newest stable version for redmi note td-scdma except that of xiomi server I tried many time to download from there with no success it's very urgent my note is in bootloop and factory reset didn't help please if any one can provide a mirror for the ROM I searched the web for an alternative with no success the Chinese ROM link is http://bigota.d.miui.com/JHECNBL41.0...e6f5f8_4.2.zip but I couldn't download it ...if any one can make a mirror for this it will be great help .. [Q] Installing KK Bootloader - what is my D802 version?

I've been wanting to install CloudyG2 v3.3 to my D802 and I figured that I'll have to flash KK bootloader.

Where can I find my current D802 rom version (30a?30b?etc...)? - I understand that I need 30a/30d to install the AutoRec KK bootloader.

Should I event try to find it, or can I just flash the latest one? I'm a little bit confused...

P.S - Yes, I've read the D802 NOOB manual.

Personaly G4 is just fine for me, however i hope we will get camera upgrade (manual controls in video) or atleast port.

Samsung S4 I9505 Baseband Version Unknown and IMEI Null

My I9505 is showing unknown baseband version and null IMEI, and it is not detecting sim card.

My phone was working fine (i.e. showing IMEI and baseband version were good) on Android 4.4.2 Kitkat. I manually updated it to Lollipop 5.0.1 using firmware named I9505XXUHOB7_I9505BTUHOB4_BTU.

I did this using Odin 3.09 only checked Auto Reboot and F. Reset Time. Everything went fine and device booted with Lollipop and then this problem of unknown baseband version and null imei happened.

I searched on the internet and i think it is because of corrupt EFS. Can someone guide me thoroughly on restoring EFS.

Identify China version

Hey,

I want to buy a original OPT from a private trader since I'm #2.670.000 in the invite queue and constantly rising.

So how can I be sure to buy the EU version (I'm located in Germany) and not the Chinese one?
I know that LTE or dual sim will maybe not work in other regions than China, but are there some software-side differences where I can see which version I'm buying?
It will be difficult to test out the Dual Sim or LTE functionality.

Nvidia Shield version of the Pixel C?

the new Pixel C's hardware is definitely impressive, especially the keyboard. However, I am very much a fan of Nvidia and it's GRID and local PC stream gaming capability. This makes me itch for an Nvidia intepretation of the Pixcel C. Imagine a 10" Tablet with similar keyboard and pen + support for Nvidia Hub and Game Controller support.

Can someone for new update: LXB22.99-24.12, that was released couple of weeks ago, post if the baseband (radio) version changed?

I arm using CM12.1 nightly and WiFi and front facing camera have issues. Maybe flashing new stock and reflashing CM12.1 might fix it.

[Introduction]
I am from Hong Kong and I am new in xda forum. Hopefully my English may not confuse you XD!
Please note that no Deep Sleep problem after root. Everything works fine.

[How to root]
Step:
1. Install "CROM_Service unlock.apk" in your note 5 and open it to unlock your note 5 device. It is a must. And then this apk can be uninstalled.
2. Make sure OEM unlock is also enabled as well.
3. Boot your note 5 into Download Mode & connect to PC
3. Flash "SM-N9200_root.tar" with Odin 3.10.7 in [AP]
4. After boot: Rooted note 5 and SuperSu installed as well!

LTE bands difference between NA version and rest of the world?

I am gonna pre-order a Nexus 6P and I want to know if there r any difference between NA version and others...
I am on China Unicom, which is using FDD Band 3...
Do all versions support B3?
