S4 Mini stuck on Boot loop and Odin keeps failing

Hey Guys,
A friend of mine has a S4 Mini Duo (I9192), she's not a tech person to put custom roms or root her phone in any way so this phone is purely stock. A couple of days ago her phone went completely dead (not powering on or charging) then after like a week of leaving it on the charger she picked it up one day and it turned on, but the phone is stuck in a boot loop (Samsung GALAXY s4 Mini Gt-I9192 screen --> vibrate --> S4 Mini GT - I9192 screen). I could get the phone to boot into recovery mode however when I do a wipe cache or even data/factory reset I get the following :

Data wipe complete.
When I try reinstalling the firmware on Odin It keeps failing as well.

I know this problem sounds unique so If anyone ever experience it and knows how to fix it i will really appreciate it as my friend loves this phone.

5.1.1 update keeps failing

I have tried twice now to update my phone to the new 5.1.1 update. Each time it downloads. I tell the phone to restart. When it goes to install it states Error. Then just reboots with out doing the update. No information what is causing the issue.

Now after this 2nd time my phone is stating I have to wait 17 hours to check again to try the update! No idea what is causing it to fail. Wondering if anyone else has had this issue. If not I am thinking tonight I might do a clean wipe of my phone and restart.

Text messages failing to send

Me and my wife got the note 5's at rhe same time. Hers fails to send text messages constantly, update profile and they work for a second or two but then same thing. Contacted sprint and they reset the network and ok for a few sec and issues again. Anyone have this issue? Anyone have suggestions of a fix?

Dead nexus? I can reach bootloader but any flash attempt ends up failing

I did root my device with Kingo root. It worked. Then I tried to unroot it with Nexus Root Toolkit v2.0.5. I couldn't apparently and the Goggle update that tried to install yielded an error.

At the end I tried the Flash Stock + Unroot option installing the last Lollipop version. It apparently worked but Android kept loading forever. I could still reach the bootloader.

I tried the same but with a early Lillipop version. The same happened.

And if I try to go to the bootloader -> then recovery -> then the android icon -> then volume up and power button -> then I do see the red led.

So, what can I do? Have I lost my nexus4?
