New X's battery more sensitive to cellular reception strength

I've owned and daily driven both the 2013/2014 X for about a whole year for each phone, so those are my comparison points.

I've been working in two offices for the past three years, I'm at Office #1 for 2 days a week, and at Office #2 for 3 days a week.

Office #1 has good reception, under the battery stats, my reception strength is all green. Office #2 is usually yellow, with some dips into red.

When I'm at office #1, standby time is WAY better on the new X. I woke up at 8am, it's currently 4:37pm, and I'm at 79%. Typically at office #2, I'd be at around 50% by now.

Oddly enough, both the 2013 and 2014 X weren't nearly as dependent on signal strength for battery life. When the new X has the chance to hold a stronger signal, battery life does greater than all the old phones. When the signal is poor, it REALLY struggles to maintain the same level of charge as when it's in a saturated network.

Anyone else with similar experiences?

Are Galaxy S4 and Note4 same in terms of reception?

yo yooo,
Is it safe to assume that the reception on my Note 4 is going to be the same as on Galaxy S4 (both t-mobile versions). I want to use my Note4 to evaluate reception on the network before I get the Galaxy S4. Thanks!

Poor WiFi reception

Hi all,

Sent my dual SIM m8 to the service center cuz the vol down was stuck hence the phone was booting on safe mode and thus making it unusable. Got the phone back after ten days, everything was fine except the fact the WiFi reception is now really bad even close to the router. Anyone knows where is the WiFi antenna on the motherboard ?

Anyone come from the regular S6? Looking to see if reception improved

I'm posting this in general because it seems like the S6 throughout all carriers had reception/antenna issues where they weren't getting good signal strength. For example I came from the S5 and there are areas that I never had issues with that became iffy with the s6. Just curious to see if the edge+ fixed or improved
