Switched from TWO NOTE 4 to ATT NOTE 5....

As the title states, I switched from the note 4 to the note 5 two days ago, and looks like I'm going to have to return it before the 14 day testing period now because there is no a IR BLASTER, which I used heavily on my note 4 because my nieces are always losing the remotes for the TV.

I'm not going to lie though, there is no comparison between the 4 and the 5. THE 5 IS A BEAST and I'm in love with it, after only 2 days of having it.

What I am asking of my friends in this community, is there any specular things you might can fill me in on regarding the IR on this or future Samsung products that anyone knows about? ???

PS > do any of you know if there is an infrared bit it is disabled somehow? If so, I'll look in to enabling it for us.

What puzzles me is the PEEL remote and Watch On apps run, just not sending any signal. If this device has it, let me know and I will link up with other devs to get it working :)

Has anyone switched from a G4?

Debating on picking up the moto x style (uk) and selling my G4. I think I'll miss the camera and smoothness of the G4, and I've heard about a slew of problems people are having with the moto x (overhearing, lag, bad screen, popping speakers)

Just not sure what to do, so if anyone has swapped from a G4 could you please say what your experience has been like.

[problem] wifi & gprs automatically switched on

Hello guys. .. plz see description!
Device: Samsung Galaxy Grand Duos i9082 + Rooted + Android v4.2.2

PROBLEM: WIFI & GPS getting on Automatically and automatically switched on after Turning them down (WIFI specially does that.)
But after some minutes it gets off (not automatically, done by me)

WHEN HAPPENS:
1. During Charging - During voltage fluctuations.
2. During any vibration (I m not sure)
3. May be some app which got Root Permission does that
4. Other Reasons

HTC ONE E8 not charging when switched off that too whenTWRP recovery installed .

HTC ONE E8 charging only when switched off that too when TWRP recovery installed .

After Upgraded to lollipop it happening .

When stock recovery installed ... not charging in both conditions ( switch ON or OFF ) .

Someone please help me out of this .
