learn me: What is the status on switching from TW version to US version?

I made the mistake of purchasing a TW version. What is the current status of switching to US/WW and having it pick up the US LTE bands? Ive found a few threads on this but they all seem to have pending information.

Thanks in advance

Question about Losing Google Voice Number When Switching to Project Fi

I ordered a Nexus 6 directly from Google and have been using it on AT&T while I waited for Project Fi approval. I originally requested my invite to Project Fi on August 8 and was approved last night - September 29. I need a few things cleared up related to my Google Voice number as apparently I will 'lose this' if / when I switch to Project Fi.

Here is my current setup / questions. I use Google Voice in this capacity:

- On my cell phone, I make and receive all of my calls within the USA by using my cell number which was provided by AT&T. The 'only' thing I use Google Voice on my phone is for the free long distance calling to Canada. This means when I dial a long distance number to Canada using my cell phone number, it looks like the call is automatically routed through Google's phone exchanges because I have Google Voice configured on my phone (I believe the caller ID on the far end shows my cell phone number - not my Google Voice number).

- I also use my Google Voice for phone service in my home. To explain, I have purchased a OBi110 (from Obihai) and have provisioned this using my Google Voice number - this way I have 'home service'. I basically only use this service to dial into work conference calls, provide this number to my utility companies, my family can use this to make and receive calls when they visit, etc. I also have my Google Voice number set up to simultaneously ring my cell number.

So if I switch to Project Fi, does this mean I can still keep my Google Voice number in my home on OBi110? If I lose the ability to use the Google Voice features on my cell phone (free long distance), but can keep my Google Voice number in my home, that will not be a problem and I will make the switch.

Thanks in advance!

Switching between Wi-Fi and 4G LTE

Ok when I connect to any Wi-Fi, it automatically changes to LTE for a couple seconds, then connect to Wi-Fi again, after about 25 seconds it happens again and like that, last time I used 1.5GB streaming because it showed was Wi-Fi connected, not data

[Q] Switching out the motherboard in the i337

Hi everyone! I have a bit of a dilemma.

I bought two AT&T S4's from a seller from on eBay. One for my Mom, and one for me. Now, the listing says that the phones are guaranteed to have a clean ESN and IMEI, are activation ready, and all that good stuff! So I get the phones yesterday and check both IMEI numbers and they check out. I went a step further to see if I could get them unlocked, because hey, why not? No dice. One phone's service contract hasn't been completed, and the other phone's Next payment plan hasn't been paid off. So I'm sitting here like . . . . okay, so will they both eventually get blacklisted? I sent the seller an e-mail about it. I could care less about unlocking the phone, but I do care about having the IMEI blacklisted some day out of the blue and not being able to use the phone, but that's another story for another day.

If the seller gives me some push back and things don't work out, I was thinking about switching the motherboard's out. I know another i337 motherboard would work just fine, but what about an M919 motherboard. Are they interchangeable? Just wanted to know! Thanks :)

[Q] No LTE after switching from WiFi.

My Nexus 6 won't pick up LTE again after being on WiFi for an extended period of time. I've tried numerous troubleshooting ideas. I do have Voice where I can make calls, just won't pick up LTE.

Putting my phone on "LTE Only" doesn't work. But putting it on "CDMA Only" does give me 2G data.

I've ran out of ideas and this is quite annoying. Anyone have this problem and/or possible fix?

I'm on Straight Talk (Verizon) with a Google Nexus 6 running Euphoria ROM with the 11.05.16R radio.

ETA: I am aware of this thread from Google:

But I'm not sure this is exactly the same problem.

Is it worth switching to a S5 neo (SM-G903F)?

Hello my friends

I'd like to discuss with you if you think it is worth switching to a Galaxy S5 neo.

Coming from another S5 variant as SM-G901F, SM-G900F etc. what are pros for switching, what could be cons for switching. What is better hardware or software wise?

Would you stay on your current model? Would you switch if you can afford it?

I'd like to discuss this here in the thread. Thanks for sharing your opinions!
