In order to use the linux version, read the readme-linux file, do what says there.
After that run 6PMultiToolvX.X-L.sh in terminal.

First, extract the folder somewhere.
After that, run 6PMultiTool vX.X.bat on windows, 6PMultiToolvX.X-L.sh on linux and 6PMultiToolvX.X-M.sh on mac.

Q: I see you talk about some 6PMultiTool vX.X, is that an eXtreme edition or something?
No, vX.X will be replaced with the version from the title of the thread, this is made like this to keep things clean over future updates, so there will be no need to change things all around the thread after each update.

Well, you firstly need to unlock your bootloader...

Q: What is logcat?
Well, you can pretty much use google for that answer, but to put it short, is that thingy that tells you what is happening behind the scenes of your phone.
It is usually used for debugging and entertaiment(?).
When you report an error/bug to somebody, it will be a blessing to provide a logcat (logfile)!

Q: What is a Custom Recovery and why do i need one?
A custom recovery is that thingy that let's you flash .zip files, use your logic and you wil get it why you need one.

Q:There are others guides/tutorials out there, should i check them instead of this?
If you manage to get things done using this one, no, otherwise yes, note that some could be outdated :)

S-View Multi DPI Android 5.1.1

Hello Comminty,
Sorry my English is misserabel . My problem is I use an S - View Cover Note 4 but in any Rome does the multi DPI .
In Rom Bobcat 7 I have my app setting the DPI tries to put on 640 but which app I have since change to make it work . With my old Note 3 there was the SView From this I could simply put on 640 dpi and it worked .
With all other apps of multi DPI Mod works

I hope someone can help me . :confused:

Tasker: Activate samsung multi window side bar

I'm just playing around with the multi window feature of my samsung stock rom.

I managed to open to apps side with tasker:
In short: tasker + "AutoShorkut" addin opens a "MW Shortcuts" shortcut.
This works just good and stable with one drawback: Apps seems to be closed before they are started in the side by side view.
For me, that was not enough.

Opening manually with the side bar wont close apps.
So I thought I want to automate the sidebar actions. I already can simulate touchscreen taps with the shell command "input tap x1 x2". I tried to use "input swipe ..." to bring the sidebar to the front but no luck... Is there any other chance to bring the side bar to the front out from a tasker script? I'm also wasn't able to simulate a long back button press. This seems to be the alternative to show the side bar beside a screen swipe.

Seeking Custom ROM for N7000 with multi user function

Hi there,

i want to use my old Samsung Galaxy Note as Tablet for my little daugters. To protect the Phone (and also my daughters), i want use the multi user feature to be able to install Apps with my accounts and let her start only less alowed apps.

I always try some Custom ROMS with Android 4.2 or higher. But all of them without the Multiuser feature.

Could anybody provide me the name of a Custom ROM that provide the multi user function ? I found a old thred, that Revolt should support that. But the Version of the Revolt ROM that i found, was without this feature.
