Mobile turns off as soon as i turn on hotspot

Current status of the phone : HTC One m7 , MIUI ROM v6 , 4.4 kitkat
Earlier : Insertcoin Rom

Problem : I'm not able to create groups on xender , shareit , meaning i cant create hotspot , as soon i create hotspot phone turns off . I had the same problem on previous rom too, i.e. insertcoin rom. But i never had that kind of problem on ARHD. I dont know whats changed , though i thought that formatting and installing new rom would solve the problem but it didn't , I'm on MIUI and im still having this problem.

Wi-Fi hotspot and VPN

I'd like to use my phone tho share my 3G/4G internet connection but behind a VPN server. If I set a VPN service on my phone it works without problem but if I try to enable wifi hotspot and I try to connect a device it doesn't work.

Is there a way to connect a device via my phone hotspot connected to a VPN?

My phone is rooted.

AT&T S4 portable hotspot is not working.

I tried deletine tehtering provision and tethering automation and installed hotspot toggle widget as a famous thread said but i manage to start the hotspot but the devices that connect to it are not able to use internet. So i need help. Have a rooted s4

Access Point Names feature and Tethering Hotspot feature is missing

I'm from Myanmar (Burma). I bought Sprint LG G3 and I used SIM card from Myanmar. When I bought Sprint LG G3, it came with Android 4.4.2. After I bought, I upgrade to Android 5.0.1 Lolipop. After finish upgrade Lolipop, I can not use Access Point Names feature and Tethering Hotspot feature. And I also can not find these two features under Mobile networks. So I downgrade to Android 4.4.2. But problems is still cause.


I don't know what happen. I want to get back original android 4.4.2 from Sprint Company. Or I want to get these two features from Mobile networks tab.


Please help me

What is the app that keeps Hotspot alive?

Connected my android phone to my android head unit. Everytime a call comes through it disconnects the WiFi Hotspot. I saw there is an app that keeps the Hotspot alive or at least auto reconnects it but I can't find it now. Anyone know of this app?

[MOD][HACK] Mobile Hotspot Hack for Xperia Z3V [23.1.D.0.485][Lollipop Update]

This mod enables the Mobile Hotspot feature on your Xperia Z3V without checking for tether entitlement. (In other words, you can use the mobile hotspot feature even if you are not paying for it on your Verizon account.)

Prerequisites:
1. You must be rooted.
2. You must have the XZ Dual Recovery installed. http://nut.xperia-files.com/
3. Reboot into either TWRP or PHILZ and flash the attached file.

Trying to troubleshoot wifi hotspot on unlocked sprint note5/att network......

Can anyone help a note 5 owner here and post the following files...

/carrier/chameleon.xml
/carrier/.chameleon.hash

I'm trying to troubleshoot a no wifi hotspot situation and need these files but the Att note 5 doesn't have root to access these files. I knew the Att note 3 has root because I had one at one time. I was told that these files are not device specific but carrier specific.

Hotspot hack (no root needed)

Here is a YouTube link I found if you need hotspot. All credit goes to youtuber Andrew Mackoul. Had this working for a while now with no issues. Also had a small update yesterday which took the hack away. Re-did it and golden.

Galaxy Edge no Hotspot and many other settings

I bought a new Galaxy 6s egde which i believe is a sprint mobile device but a lot of things and settings are missing i need direction on how to get a new firmware and installation to make my phone work better because current i do not have mobile hotspot and i cannot hide my mobile number when calling from more settings in dail pad. My model number is SM-G925P I also want to know if its posible to install another country firmware on it.
