Volume too low

So, all of this started with an issue with my volume being too low when using a bluetooth or wired headset. From what I can tell it runs about 30% less volume than any of my other android devices including my phone. So, first thing I did is root so that I could see if there were any apps out there that could help. Nada. Then, I decided that I should flash a recovery so that I can use the variety of mixer xml editing (well, flashing technically) apps so I can raise the hard coded values ( hear they are set to 60 in the stock mixer paths XML on the LG tablets and max is 93 .. so yea thats a lot). Found a bunch of posts here and in other places and eventually used flasher to toss on Philz.
It was only after I applied it that I noticed a few posts indicating that this won't work on 5.0.2 and specifically, on Verizon tablets.
Now, I'm not having any major issues. Technically, once its booted, it works 100%. BUT, it does struggle with reboots and I often have to try a couple of times until it comes up. Honestly, I could care less about that right now.
But, I'm still struggling with the volume, and I can't get in to Philz recovery, and I'm still on a Verizon tablet with a locked bootloader.

ARGH!

Any suggestions for any of it? Volume, bootloader, etc? I would be ... HAPPY ... to move to a different rom if I could get the bootloader to work and if it would still work on the Verizon network (is that possible with Cynogen or any of the other roms?).

Increase volume?

My G Tab is pretty quiet through bluetooth and headphones compared to my Samsung Phone, Kindle Fire, etc. Probably 30% less. This makes it incredibly difficult to hear movies and music on an airplane. I'm rooted, so I'm hoping there's a way to do a massive audio volume boost at some level? Do you know how?

Bootloader unlock WITHOUT volume buttons

Is there any way to unlock the bootloader without the volume buttons? Mine have broken (even when the button circuit board has been replaced) and all programs or guides i have found ask you to do at least one action with the volume buttons.

Unfortunately i have also upgraded to 5.1.1 so no easy root options.

Stock rom (hence the need to unlock and add functionality due to the loss of hardware buttons)

Thanks!

Universal Volume Control via Chromecast SSH

volume control via ssh
is it possible to control the volume of the chromecast via ssh? because my sound system is a classic stereo which doesnt have a remote, i am looking into using IR-Toy on my computer to receive IR signals from a standard remote, and in turn send ssh commands to chromecast. the reason i need this is because controlling the volume via the app which is doing the casting is cumbersome. also if there is a ssh command to play/pause i could implement that as well.

Missing notification volume control?

Hi,

Just bought a Moto G to replace a smashed Nexus 4, (I loved that 'phone and now it's dead), and can't find notification volume control settings. There's no volume slider for notifications under "Sound & notification", so where is it? What am I missing?

Running stock lollipop 5.1.1 which came with the 'phone. Thanks in advance.

Has anyone ever managed to change the volume strength?

There are audio mods which changes the loudness of the volume on the Xperia Z3. But how does one do that? Some audio mods are either just too loud or just too soft.

LG G4 Ringer volume too loud

Sometimes when I get a call the ringer volume jumps to the max. Does anyone else have this problem? I'm running "Locale" so it changes the volume but it still jumps from 14% (in "Locale") to full blast. It's killing me and disputes the office.

Soung Volume Increase

i just want to increase volume of headphone sound on my lg g flex 2, in general i have tried to change some values in mixer-path.xml but after restart it definitely losing sound in music player in youtube etc, i have harman kardon ae-s and it has great sound in HTC, Iphone 5s, Nokia lumia 930 but in my phone it's low, can you suggest something for this?

How do I get the volume settings on Google Maps?

I know the setting exists, but it doesn't appear on my phone. I'm still on 4.4.4, which it appear on Lollipop?

Scrolling responsiveness and volume level confirmation sound.

I've been using Samsung for a while but I have used some other phones from LG, HTC, Oppo, Sony.
The last phone that I have had before the G4 was a Galaxy S5 (which I gave to my wife).

I really miss the scrolling on the S5, which is like iPhones if I'm not mistaken. Very responsive and quick to react to our touches. I move in the direction that I want and it does its best to follow my finger, while on the G4 it lags behind and takes its time. I had an HTC M9 before the G4 and I've used a Nexus 5 since my mother has it and those phones are also slow in scrolling and feel like they lag behind. Sure they're all smooth but I don't like how slow it is. I don't feel like I have that much control like I did on the S5.
My Asus touchscreen laptop has a very good touch response as well, same as on the S5 and it's better than on my G4 lol, interesting huh.

I am sure that it is software related and that it comes from Google's stock and bad scrolling behavior. It's not LGs fault.
I am wondering if someone knows of a tweak to improve scrolling?
I am rooted so I can do changes to build.prop.

About the volume confirmation sound when changing volume (the ringtone one), does anyone know where I can find the volume sound file? I checked in system/media and didn't find it there. On the S5 it is there and I can rename the file to disable that annoying Google stock sound. I really like HTC's implementation of volume change, the notification sound is great and the type of sound changes depending on how loud or low. It's the only one that doesn't make me want to disable it.
I found a txt file, if I recall correctly, about the volume change but it has a bunch of numbers inside it..

Thanks in advance!
