No playback through bluetooth headset while recording with mic

I have a Moto G X1032 running lollipop 5.1 and Cyanogenmod. I'm using Mpow Swift headphones with integrated mic. I've tried several free Bluetooth compatible recording apps, and I've used Rocketplayer, Bluetooth Music Player Free and ES Music Player (packaged with ES file manager).

While recording with the Bluetooth mic, any audio i play comes through my phone speakers not the headphones. Cyanogenmod's default music player won't play the audio files to begin with.

I see some recording apps offer background recording, but as i have successfully recorded while using my phone for other tasks i doubt that's the issue.

[Q] OTA through stock recovery problem

Trying to flash the latest 5.1 OTA on a phone that has been converted to GPE. Have put the OTA file on the internal storage, accessed stock recovery but the "apply from phone storage" is missing. No option to flash the OTA from the internal storage.

Any ideas?

Has the memory management issues been fixed through root?

After the disappointing announcement of the new Nexuses, I'm looking at getting an S6. I can deal with TW by themeing it, but has the memory issue been fixed yet?

Anyone know if asurion will insure your new moto x p through your cell provider ?

Does anyone know if asurion will insure your new moto x pure through your cellular provider ? Asking because your not buying your moto x pure from your cellular provider so technically they Dont have to offer you loss, theft or damage insurance and these phones are not cheap so taking the chance of no insurance is a big risk. Anyone know anything on what the major carriers are doing as far as asurion insurance if they will insure you when you did not buy the phone from them ?

Just got the OTA reminder and wonder if I can update that way but keep the root?

cast screen through chromecast?

Has anybody managed to cast/mirror screen through chromecast?
I have tried all versions of mirror enabler but didn t work.
Somebody has a tip on this?or maybe another app to mirror screen??

SMS not going through

Hi guys,

Facing an issue with SMS.
I checked the SMSC number in the test menu(*#*#4636#*#*) which is blank. I do a refresh which populates the number and then an update and it sticks. But as soon as I exit the screen, it again becomes blank.

I can't pin-point this to Lollipop update either, because I was on another carrier post the update and it worked fine then.
Also the carrier I am on now worked fine earlier on the phone(Pre-Lollipop)

Some people suggested doing a cache wipe, but that didn't fix it for me.
Any help ?

MAP Through Car Stereo

I've seen a couple of similar threads, but I still can't figure out how to do this.

When I'm connected to my car stereo via bluetooth, how do I make it so a text I receive comes through the stereo, or at the very least, notifies me that I have a text? Right now, when I'm driving down the road, when I get a call, it interupts whatever I have playing on the stereo, and I can answer the call. Can I turn something on, on my G4 that will make texts be read through bluetooth as well? My 5 year old windows phone (HTC HD7) could do this no problem, so it would blow me away to know that our new, really cool G4's do not have this ability.

I've tried using a couple of apps from the Play Store that seemed liked they might do the trick, but to avail.

Music comes through only from left earpiece of any headphones - HTC Desire 620G

So I bought the HTC Desire 620G one week ago and haven't used headphones on it since today.
I plugged them in and noticed only the left earpiece is working. At first i thought my headphones were broken and plugged them in another phone and my PC and they worked perfectly. Then i tried using other headphones, tried 3 other headphones still same problem.
Also tried to see if i can clean it with a toothpick but no luck. Any help appreciated :) :)

Push bullet just won't come through

I am trying to get push bullet to successfully push notifications through, however greenify seems to be stopping it.

I have paid for donate version and I have activated GCM push for greenified apps.
Only option enabled in settings is GSM push

OnePlus Mini Leaked Through AnTuTu Benchmark

It’s long been rumored that OnePlus has been working on a second smartphone for release this year and that the device will be called the OnePlus Mini. Today, an AnTuTu benchmark result image was leaked showing an unknown OnePlus device which is speculated to be the OnePlus Mini.

The device featured in the leaked AnTuTu benchmark tests, codenamed A2301, was able to garner a score of 54,311 which, according to the test, is a lot higher than the Meizu MX4, Samsung Galaxy Note 4, and the ASUS Zenfone 2.

The leaked results also reveal the specifications of the OnePlus Mini which include 1080p full HD display, a MediaTek MT6795T processor, a PowerVR Rogue G6200 graphics chip, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, a 13-megapixel rear camera, and Android 5.1.1 Lollipop.

There’s still a chance that the device featured on the benchmark isn’t the OnePlus Mini and is a completely different device from OnePlus so we’ll have to wait and see for more leaks or an official announcement from the company.

I am on a contract-based family plan thing with Verizon. I still get subsidized phones. Think I will be able to get this as a cheap upgrade from Verizon right away?
