Sprint HTC One Max No wake from power button

New to all this, and was wondering if there is a way to use something else to wake and put to sleep instead of power button. Looking for help!!! Can someone walk me thru what to do?

Phone won't power on after sitting

This is my sister's phone. She left it sit in her car (still powered on) while she went on vacation for a week (she forgot the damn thing, and when she realized it, it was too late).

Anyway, the phone won't power on. The battery will charge fine, and the display will show the battery status, but pressing the power button does nothing.

From the looks of it, the phone has taken a couple of hits. She took the phone back to Verizon, but they immediately refused to do anything with it because of the water dots being "pink". However, she swears (and by looking that I can tell) it has not been in water, except from condensation from being in a pocket.

Would replacing the power switch help, or is this just an expensive paper weight? The phone has not been rooted or anything else. It's completely stock.

How to wake a idle tablet without using the power switch?

Hi,

on google play and elsewhere there a lot of applications, which will wake an idle tablet via shakeing
or by moving over the proximity sensor, or by manipulateing any of the zillions of sensors of other phones/tablets.

ME176CX:
Proximity sensor? ...no sorry...not yet.
Light sensor? no
GPS? Not working at all.
Accelerometer? YES...but unfortunately switch off when idle.
Magnetic field sensor: YES and working when if configured so. But I cannot get it working
(where is the sensor located?)

I dont want to wear off the power switch for simply wakeing my tablet.

Is there any application or hack known which enables to wake the tablet without
using the power switch and which may not drink the Amperes pint wise?

Best regards,
tuxic

Reboot Loop, No Power Button

Recently my Galaxy S2 got shut into a reboot loop, which would be alright, if I had a functiong power button. Wthout the power button, I can't enter recovery mode to restore the phone. I've already tried to use ADB Fastboot, but since I have been getting the MTP USB Device driver failure, ADB won't notice my phone.
Any suggestions?

Can't access FastBoot mode & sporadically won't power back on after I attempt it!

When it's working, my brand new Nexus 7 2013 Wi-Fi powers on and off normally when pressing and holding the power button for 3 seconds. But when I attempt to enter FastBoot mode (I plan on rooting it) by pressing the power & vol up/down simultaneously, nothing happens, just a black screen as if the device is dead. What's worse is that I then have great difficulty getting the Nexus to even power on normally. Right now it appears to be dead but if I press & hold the power button in many attempts it might come back on. This always happens right after I attempt to enter fast boot mode. Using Android 5.01. Can anyone help me with this problem? I'm on the verge of RMAing it since I can't seem to get it to power on anymore but will keep trying. I really would like to root this but it seems impossible at this point.

Can you get an magnetic power cable and adapter for the 10.5" ???

I have seen them for the S2, but the S2 has an flat edge as far as i can see where the microusb sits, when on the 10.5" the edge is angled.

This will eliminate wear and tear on the microusb port once fitted, and you can connect the charging cable to the tablet with your eye closed, just about anyway.

Has anybody see one, below is an link to the S2 version XDA page.

Dead power button. Need Triangleaway to work and return phone to the store.

It is hard trying to find any tar files on this forum to flash via odin. I Just need a package (with cmw touch) in tar format, so I can flash into odin. But I need the package to allow me to use triangle away. I don't understand why triangle away doesn't work. It assumes my phone isnt rooted and suggests I create a dump file to upload here.. I used it before a few years ago on a different ROM. Please help, because I am flashing back n forth and I can't navigate on this forum or find archives with files. I think the old triangleaway was more compatible.

Xenon HD power button problem

I've been having some problems with my phone, my wifi kept breaking (not switching on) but I have fixed that.

However when i press the power button instead of any of the reboot menus the phone just soft reboots. I've tried diabling and re enabling the advanced reboot menu vut that didn't work.

Any other suggestions before I wipe and reinstall?

TIA

Trying to power on while the charger is plugged it just show Samsung NOTE 3 screen and sometimes samsung logo gets load with blue LED continuously onn again the battery charging issue

[Review] 20000mAh Kmashi MP828 Power Bank

Introduction
Yeah… There is a power bank that can fully charge my iPad finally. Yes, it is 20000mAh Kmashi MP828 External Battery Power Bank. It uses 26650 lithium battery that can hold up to 1000 times charge and discharge cycle. And provide high safety with intelligent circuit, full short-circuit, over-current, over-voltage and over-temperature protection. Besides, it supports ultra-fast input charging with 5A wall adapter. Sound good? Let’s check out its real world performance…

Specifications
  • Capacity : 20000mAh / 73.3Wh~74.7Wh

  • Input1 : DC 5V/5Amp (wall charger included)

  • Input2 : Micro USB 5V/2Amp

  • Output1 : 5V/1A

  • Output2 : 5V/2.1A

  • Size : 161x63x28mm

  • Weight : 450g

  • Warranty : 1 Year

Package Content & Design
There is Kmashi MP828 power bank, micro USB cable, wall adapter and user guide in the package. Kmashi MP828 itself is like long chocolate bar. Yummy… Yes, all my mobile devices want to have its battery juice. By the way, it is coated with soft touch rubber and sides of the unit are rounded to make it which makes it easy to hold and nice to touch. And premium material is used to ensure lightweight and durability. All the stuffs like power button, LED lights, power inputs and USB outputs are located on the left part. The LED lights will show the remaining power once you pressed the power button.

Performance Result
Wow!!! Kmashi MP828 power bank has total effective power supply of 13880mAh based USB voltmeter reading. That’s around 70% efficiency. Great job indeed. Based on the mobile devices I have – Nexus 4 (2100mAh), Galaxy S4 (2600mAh), Nexus 7 2013 (3950mAh) and iPad 3 (11,560mAh). It can fully charge Nexus 4 for 6.7 times, Galaxy S4 for 5.4 times, Nexus 7 (2013) for 3.5 times and iPad 3 for 1.2 times. Yes, it is the only power bank in my house that can fully change an iPad, 3 times on smaller tablet and more than 5 times on most of the smartphones out there. A perfect power bank to carry during outing for days where you can’t find any power source. By the way, I noticed that Output1 can supply more than 1A just like Output2 (when only Output1 is used). However, it will reduce to 1A when Output2 is been used.

How does Kmashi MP828 power bank perform on latest smartphones? Let’s have a look on Galaxy S6 (2550mAh), Samsung Galaxy Note 5 (3000mAh), iPhone 6S (1715mAh) and iPhone 6S Plus (2915mAh).
  • Galaxy S6 – 5.5 charges

  • Galaxy Note 5 – 4.7 charges

  • iPhone 6S – 8.2 charges

  • iPhone 6S Plus – 4.8 charges

Seriously, Kmashi MP828 performs really well here. And it can be fully charged within 5 hours and 30 minutes with 5A wall adapter. That’s 20000mAh I am talking about. It will take more than half a day for fully charge with normal 2A USB adapter.

Note – This power bank had been gone through 5 charge and discharge cycles to get accurate data and prove its stability. Yup, it passed flawlessly…

Advantages
  • Enormous battery capacity

  • Can fully charge iPad

  • Extremely fast input charging

  • Dual ports support

Limitations
  • Tiny LED lights

Conclusion
Look no further, 20000mAh Kmashi MP828 is the one for you if biggest capacity power bank is what you need. Equipped with ultra-fast input charging with 5A wall adapter. You can’t go wrong at this price point. Get yours here now.
